Now can we maybe have an ad like this float around a station or something? Maybe the actual PSA guys and gals could say it every once in a while? Maybe we can have a tutorial on this plus video? [noob]

I'm sure the station announcements used to say it. Or maybe I'm confusing that with the many, many times it's been mentioned in threads. Threads that usually start with "I lost my ...."

Yea but that's with not hitting someone and killing them or a station wall.

Maybe the add should use reverse psychology.

Dare them to do it. Be brave and fly with the risk of loosing everything. Risk it all by flying without insurance; if you dare?

The issue I have with station announcers, I can't really understand what they are saying and I don't hang about long enough, for meaningful conversation.

A dirty great big, holographic add over the mail slot: May have the desired result. Death can be expensive; can you afford it?

The stations don't care if you kill thousands of their citizens, they don't care if you bring in thousands of tons of contraband, they don't care who you are, what you are or what you do or anything at all about you. So why on earth would they care if you're dumb enough to fly without insurance?

Because they care about it when you fly slightly too fast near them.

If you fly without insurance and die they won't be able to profit from you anymore ;)

I would have a button which can be turned off in options where it would throw a popup stating your flying without insurance. Maybe the Frontier insurers can make a reappearance ;)

I'm getting tired of people complaining about losing a ship because it was expensive and they didn't have the insurance, then blaming it on the game.
Let's make this ad/ingame announcement a thing.

The ultimate dare would be to play as if it was real - you die, you wipe.

FD touted Ironman a long time ago that would have done exactly that .. I am still hopeful they will implement it.

speeding warning is repeated 20 times in a minute, yet there is people speeding eeeeeeverywhere, can't see the difference.

yes.I lost faith and hope in these two topics. my fault.

Station speakers already say similar stuff....so yeah, add how easy it is to see on right screen...yeah....I doubt any louder or more obvious notifications is going to have much effect.

I would just really like to see it be so god damn obvious and still once in a blue moon see a ''I lost my ship..'' thread. [hehe]
