Is the in-game clock currently behind UK time?

Yeah, it was confusing me too. As of last Sunday, it no longer matches up with "local" time in the GMT timezone, it's now one hour behind. Bah, humbug.

Its on GMT /UTC as it should be for a UK based game company.

And stuff this changing clocks every 6 months.... as old story says "Only stupid man thinks cutting a foot off the top of a blanket and sewing it on the bottom makes a longer blanket".

If you want to make the most of long summer days... get up earlier :p

I get up every day before 4am, work day or not, no matter the season.

Going to bed before the sun sets on those long summer days sucks. :(

Just sayin.

Daylight hours confuse me so much. What time is it now ? What time would that of been yesterday ? What's going on [cry]

I wish the whole world would just go to UTC, it would be weird for about a week to go to bed at ~0600 (or whatever time it would be in your locale), but then it would be normal and no one would think about it anymore.

The joys of British "Summer" Time...

I really cannot see the need for it any more, sticking to UTC / GMT would be a great idea in my opinion.

Funny. My clocks mostly run on UTC, including the Desktop clock. So I didn't see any difference and thought the game clock would just display the local time.

Just realized that some people in the forums tend to set their clocks to local time ;-).

Well that's an interesting idea ... I like it :)

The downside of daylight saving is it fades your curtains faster, the cows give less milk and the chooks get confused and lay less eggs but it does recharge your solar panels a bit more each day.

Honestly we should all just go to UTC.

So what if lunchtime is 3am and it's pitch black in the middle of the day. I'd take that over having to work out what the time is, anywhere else. :)

No, that silliness is not limited to the US. Time zones were one of humanity's more idiotic inventions.

I've heard this from many folks, and often wondered why? Perhaps way back when time was first invented/discovered (you pick), it might have been realistic to just have one time "zone". However, once humans were far enough apart for the day light off set to make a difference, who gets to have actual "high noon"?

I do think it is time (pun intended) for the U.S. to take a giant leap into the present, and abolish day light savings time!
