I made a thing...

Goosebumps!!!!!!!

"When you stare at the UA, it stares back into your soul.
Where did you come from, where do you go.
Can you harm an unknown object? Can you pull the trigger once?
What do you think of? future conflicts? loved ones gone?

I am the UA, i read your signal.
I morse the answer, i morse the code.
Can you read me? Hear my call?
I am the UA, please take me home"
:D

Beautiful :D

Best lyrics so far, since no-one has decoded the real ones yet

I'm not too fond of listening to morse,
but i opened up my firewall of mind to the tunes
and general feeling of the song,
i think a synthesized voice would fit it well;)

The lyrics actually dictated themselves on me,
like they were there all the time.

After all the UA and i share something,
we both want to head home, but we can't :(

Wait something is wrong, i still hear the UA-song...
*where is my tinfoil?!!!!!*

Oh God, my ears, aaaah, thats...

No not really - I like it :) I like how you have the high buzzing sounds of the UA running through it

*laughs* Thank you, it really is terrible as far as I'm concerned, but it made it past my initial "it's so bad I'll just delete it" that most things I try get :)

Shard, you frecker. How dare you expect players of Elite: Dangerous to give half a monkey's about such endeavours as this?! Your enthusiasm and clear delight in the mysteries of the game are as galling as they are insensitive to those of us with absolutely no wish to see others enjoy the broad gaming experience of ED.
If this ends up in the next Newsletter, as it sadly seems to deserve, I shall have no option but to Ragestay. Right in your face.

Sounds good, though. :)

I agree. It's a kick in the naans for those of us that tries hard to stay within the 1 inch depth of the game that was intended for players. Moving outside that inch may lead to cerebral activity. This is highly undesirable for a modern human, involved in a leisure activity.
Until a mystery solving module is implemented in the game, I recommend that people stay away from activities that are not listed on the bulletin board.
I hope this is solved in 2.1. After all, engineers gets paid to think. We should not have to do it our self.

Hutton got the exclusive :)

Vin told me he'd network it with the other radio guys at the Elitemeet, so it's not exclusive - but they did get it first :)

Awesome! Let us know how it goes. I'd be psyched to see it there and give both you and ED some more exposure. :D

I've been looking into it, and it's looking to me that the music HAS to be a cover of game music. There doesn't seem to be a place for original music, but I'll contact them and see

Obviously, I think you're right, Han, but having had to think I'm going to go and lie down instead of logging into the game. This is all Shard's fault, with his smug craftsmanship and despicably skilful little ditty.
