Let me check, but I think the Exploration forum is exempt from the edit restriction.

I´ll post back in this post.... here we are, direct from Brett

So you should be fine.
Excellent thanks. It's heavily linked all over, on magazines, videos, blogs, gaming sites, so it makes sense to leave it open to edits.. Lots more data and info to add to the OP in the coming weeks :)

"And finally, to help the Distant Worlds Expedition celebrate their achievement, which was just one example of how wonderful and dedicated our Community can be, we created this Distant Worlds decal that anybody who completed the Expedition will have in their Outfitting when The Engineers goes live, and they finally make it home."

NO. FD did not create the decal, they turned a logo into a decal. Let's remind ourselves that Hi-Ban created this awesome logo, and that his name has not appeared anywhere since the logo competition. I think the least was to credit him in the newsletter.

*Puts on mod hat*

The thread will be closed. It will be a perpetual monument to the DWE expedition. Kinda cool that it hit critical mass exactly when the main part of the expedition finished. You'll still be able to link to it, edit posts, but no more posts will be possible.

A new thread will be opened, by you I hope, with my help as usual in maintenance, for the final phase of the expedition, as well as for further discussion. I'll get the last post here, redirect to it as well as put some closing sentiments.

So yeah, midnight, tomorrow, it closes *cries*

You are right, he should have more credit. I've given him credit as often as I can!

While Hi-Ban deserves tremendous accolades for creating our awesome logo, the newsletter is technically correct, in that FDev did create the decal for in game from Hi-Ban's logo. :D

I would just like to congratulate all the distant world team and the organizers for their epic efforts. I miss you guys and the bubble just isn't the same without your occasional cameos! Homestly looking at the friends tabs, it feels like the bubble has moved to the other side of the Galaxy! Safe travels to all of you. And if any of you brave souls require it, I'd be honored to escort you back in.

Where did you go Ziljan? Last time I checked you were still with us and I told you to catch up so we can hang out?

Sounds good, CMDR, It may take a while, the stars seems bent on keeping my Imperial Cutter north of the 65KLy line, there's no apparent escape...aarrrhhhggg.

Funnily enough the emptiness of where we've been only really hit me today when I started seeing lots of stars in front of me again.

10,000 posts!!!!!!

DAMN NINJAD! *resists using mod powers to delete and claim for himself*

Well, achieved my goal of being a founding member of a singularity thread :)
Now I have no further reason to remain here. Good luck yadda yadda bye

EDIT: LOL, thanks Jon Flint...

So yeah, 10,000th post!!!! (not really, everyone go and find a post by Jon Flint and rep him for it)

Next time I will earn my 10,000th post fair and square :D

Seeing a lot of greens taking the direct route to the bubble. Next time it'll be the extreme super jump range Imperial Cutter!
