Both should be able to jump as far as an Anaconda. Which, not only is the cheapest, but doesn't require rank grinding.

It does not need it. It's already the most armored and shieleded ship in the entire game. It doesn't have a class 8 for balancing reasons.

It's the same reason the Corvette has small hardpoints instead of all large, huge, and medium.

I still don't get the simple fact of why these 2 new ships are in no way an 'upgrade' from the Anaconda..... given the hassle to get them (i've had both, have 1 now) they're still not that worth it unless you're a trader and want the ultimate trade ship in the cutter
