Marketing Outlet or Real Forum?

If the Community Management Team, and it's Forum Moderators could please answer this question:

Are the Elite Dangerous Forums a Marketing Outlet for Frontier Development?

Or are they an Open Outlet for Elite Dangerous players to share ideas about the game they play and love?

If this forum is not overtly a "Marketing Outlet", then...

#FREE_CMDR_VICKTORE_BESKOR

... and by all means R/O me too with a 10 day forum vacation!

This is an important question to have answered, as to whether or not we should expect to receive a read only moderator 'vacation' for discussing thoughts and ideas about the games developement path that do not jive with the mainstream opinion?

Since they don't DO that, why don't you tell us the REST of the story about why you got your main a little vacation? And be quick about it before they kick your alt off as well!

Because we have opinions about Elite Dangerous. So unless your ready to blindly drink the Frontier Koolaid, then understand that a forum member was 'roughed up' by a over zealous 'volunteer' moderator and now is banished to the no posing lands of some distant twilight zone

I'm just seeing accusation after accusation without any supporting details.

I've said my fair share about Open/Group and a number of other topics and I've been kinda belligerent about my position, at times...no ban here...so again, CONTEXT, please

WE are not all your spamming friend, and I happen to loathe koolaid, thank you. Breaking forum rules gets one in trouble, you DO get warned about it before you get a vacation, so failure to heed the warnings and continue doing the disallowed action isn't an overzealous moderator, it's your friend being rather silly, and he deserves the break.

Maybe he'll think before he does it again...I'd not lay odds on that however. I'm sure you'll be hearing from the mods as well, if you haven't already, as this sort of thing is also against the rules, which you know.

Ah so you're one of those Camel Knuckles who didn't seem to take notice that Vicktore Beskor leads and represents over 100 Commanders in the EDF, who are also interested in enhanced Group Gameplay mechanics? And that doing so is somehow selfish because ofc presenting new ideas are totally against the spirit of supporting developement of a fairly new game.

Working as intended. Otherwise the font size and color option shouldn't be available - and look this awesome against a black background!

How can you possibly know "mainstream opinion" as the vast majority of ED players don't even belong to this forum.

Edit "Vicktore Beskor leads and represents over 100 Commanders in the EDF" whoopee do. Is your attitude also representative of this big power house you mention.

And you'll be joining him shortly on his vacation. I know whom you speak of, he earned his break, don't think he'll learn anything from it, anymore than I think you will either.

This ain't EvE, you aren't dealing with CCP, there are rules around here, you break em, you get warned, you keep breaking them, you get punished. Goonies don't get that I've noticed, not until they actually start getting permbans, seen it in multiple games.
