Depends on what they do. Dialogue prompts would be awesome if they saved them for first contact.

Better yet...make the first few of them live events with developers behind the alien ships, so they can talk back according to scripts.

Sort of a role-playing in spaceships kind of event?

In my case, if I get into a first contact situation...I will:

1. Offer them a plate of chocolate chip cookies in a cargo container.

2. Ask them to send a representative to Alioth to talk to Mahon.

3. If they shoot first, then let the Nocturne (my mining corp's flagship) go down in the shots heard round the galaxy.

That's rarely happened with me. Sure, I've been attacked without warning, but most of the time they either ignore me or communicate. I'm usually up for a friendly chat, even if it's a short one.

If it was me my guess would be spam the screenshot command followed by alt+tab trying to get fraps or shadowplay to work only to come back to a rebuy screen. I can just see that happening, 10/10 would die on desktop again.
