I don't think pricing is going to drop that quickly on HMD's. If you want to run VR, be prepared to pay for it. £1500 will only be a down payment long term. However, it is optional.My big problem with the HTC vibe is the price. Or, rather, that else I could spend the money on. The vibe itself is £700 (I think) and a PC capable of running it is going to be that again, at least. £1500 for a video games system that could be obsolete in 12 months if it doesn't catch on?
Yeah, i'd like one. But right now I think the price is sky-high for the early adopters. Give it six months and probably save yourself £3-400 and know if the OR or Vive will be the winner.
It seems in any case that E.D. appear larger and more dynamic with this type of interface ?
