I don't think there would be any tags unless someone had sold it during a beta which is highly unlikely (separate databases). I'm guessing that the only reason you can see it at all is because you went there last beta when scouting for DWE.

Kamzel can't see Rendezvous Point despite tagging it, Erimus can see it as he scouted it during the last beta. There are no tags anywhere by the looks of it. So the only issue is BP not being BP.

I can't even see the system map. it's RED as if I had never been there. Very strange. All of my exploration data for the last 6 months just seems to have vanished. Only captains log remains intact. Yikes... Exploration stats still show 65,222 from starting system. So something must be off.
It's Beta... The same thing happens every time (afai can tell) ... reset the galaxy... not the commander. If you have been there in Beta... you should still be able to see it.

Ive been away for a week and all hell breaks loose! first Jaques station may be ferrying hundreds of player killers in poorly jumpranged ships to BP, now this. Wat FD? What is going on?

Did you check Rendezvous Point Erimus? That system was named as well and I don't have exploration data since I never sold it in beta , so I can't check it.
This sucks. Let's hope FD restores the system to its former state (and "first discovered by" tag), soon!
I confess I am a little confused. The GalNet article states Jaques is preparing for a record jump to Beagle Point, but I assumed it really meant "a record journey for a mobile space station", and that he wouldn't travel the whole 65k LY in one jump, but rather start on a long "Distant Worlds" expedition of his own, probably reaching BP in several months? This way he would really be of some use to Commanders embarking on the long way to the other side of the galaxy, for repairs and selling exploration data on the way. Going there in one huge jump would be pretty off-putting, IMHO, and somehow leave a bad taste for all those who took the whole journey "manually" without just riding along Jaques for a single massive jump.

Those worried about Jacques bringing trolls, dock in to the station in single mode, sell data, then back to open.
What about NPC pirates? There should be some around every station and that includes Jacques regardless where it is...
