I've got to be honest. I feel like owning elite for the the Xbox is just a constant waiting game for updates months after the PC. I don't own a powerful PC. I cannot afford one. I swear every time I buy a console and think this is the one, I'm finally up to date hopefully il finally be preferred for once. Nope. PC has everything and more but I will never be able to afford a $3000 rig (inb4 cheaper rigs, I've tried.) Oh well that's consumerism. Sorry for the complaining I just needed to get this off my back.

I have seven other games sitting on my shelf just gathering dust
When I discovered this game on the marketplace, the first thing I did was reformat the console and clear evrything. Then I recovered my GT and downloaded ED, oh happy days!

Is that for all, or just 1.6? With all the conflicting reports, it's hard to keep track.
I know David said 1.6 was coming 1st with horizons soon after, I've also read somewhere that 1.6 is slated as end of may (so 4 weeks) and 2.0 for mid June. (6).
As big as 1.6 is, it's 2.0 I'm interested in as I need to plan my return to the bubble so I can pick up an srv. I don't want to be like obsidian ant, out amongst thee stars for over a year, able to land, but nothing to do once down there as no srv

Horizons is due for Xbox One this quarter, so should be with us by the end of June.
PC is getting 1.6 and 2.1 at the same time, but I don't know if Xbox is going to get 1.6 with 2.1 or if 1.6 will be earlier.
1.6 and 2.1 have only just entered beta for PC, so that has to finish first anyway...

Thanks Arne, change log looks great, very extensive changes that should make a big difference to the game even without Horizons. Galaxy Map bookmarks at last! I think we need to be realistic about the odds of getting Horizons/Engineers/2.1 on XBox before end of June -- I'd rather they spend the necessary time to get it released on PC with very high quality, then finalize the XBox port again with high quality. So more likely to be August-September timeframe.
I'm calling it now. If 1.6 isn't for 4-6weeks then Xbox Horizons is going to miss it's Q2 delivery date.

I think people aren't giving FD enough credit for porting all this content over to Xbone - its an inferior machine and I bet its like performing brain surgery on a mouse while its awake... trying to make it all work AND putting all this content into the game at one point is massive guys...anyone who is complaining needs to watch a few PC streams and take into account the MASSIVE amount of stuff (especially all the engineers stuff)

If FD wasn't confident of getting Horizons to us by the end of Q2, it wouldn't have said Q2...

In 4-6 weeks, we will still be in Q2.
I think to save time and resources, they'll probably bundle 2.0 and 2.1 into one update, which encompasses Planet Landing and The Engies.
