Tips to get a conda ASAP?

I mainly wanted the conda Just for the fact of being the owner of "The mighty anaconda" and once horizons releases I really want to go out into the void and maybe stay there for a while. Still a long road though

The 'Conda isn't that great, and now there are bigger more expensive ships it's not even top of the tree any more so it's lost that as well.

It's an OK all rounder, but mine stays parked mostly I have more fun in my Clipper or Python both of which fly better and are more useful.

Robigo. You'll have the Annie in hours, lol. I suggest not rushing it though. Once you reach your goal, you can quickly become disinterested in the game. You may think the Annie will keep you going, but once you have it, you may find yourself saying, "Well now what..." Just play the game, have some fun, and eventually you'll have it. Besides, it's not even going to be fully functional until 2.2!
Wow, true words I think I will stop my rushing and just play, without noticing I will get there while enjoying the game

Hi OP, I just wanted to chime in & say that after well over 1000's of hours playing, I still almost exclusively fly small ships, mainly Cobras & Vipers.

OP, if you're gonna bounty hunt I'd stick with the FDL. The Conda is rough trying to bounty hunt in until you pump her full of credits and spend alot of time hunting.

I'd stick with the FDL and purchase an AspE for exploring

Robigo.

BTW, it steers like a house, and you can't see half of what's in front of you because the prow is in the way. (Learned that in Beta(s).)

Happy flying.

Still don't have one because I like exploring and I refuse to deal in slaves.

You don't have to deal in slaves to get a conda. Just buy a t9 and do an A>B>A trade route. You won't make great profits, especially compared to people who are trading in slaves, but I made enough to put myself into a trade-fitted conda in about a week.

Pirates should be able to disable ships and then tow them to a Station to steal or sell. How many times must we tell FD how to make their game? FD!

Play the game. It's that easy. Robigo is there for the most impatient of folks, but just play the game. Try new things. Try other ships. Go somewhere you haven't been. Eventually you'll amass the $124mil or whatever it costs. Don't grind though. Wait until you have your conda to grind, cause you'll need a poopie load of ca$h to outfit it.

And if I didn't mention it before, just play the game.

This is a good idea and would enable pirates to earn a real living instead of prancing around like Turpin. Only trouble is that all non pirate players would go solo....

got my conda after about 5 months of playing on average 8 hours a day.
I went:
sidewinder,
cobra and T6, (fighting and trading)
vulture and T7, (fighting and trading)
Python (Powerplay)
Anaconda (Anything)

I did not rush it. Grinded some money with trading but once i got to the vulture and python more money could be earned with fighting alone.

jesus christ, 8 hours a day.

#nothing else to do in life

I have plenty and can still hit an average of 8 hours a day :)

i don't even spend 8 hours awake in the house each day

i'm only jealous

I know. I have a T9, but I have a short attention span when it comes to A-> B -> A
I usually get to about 50M Cr when I think something like "Ooh! I can afford to upgrade my Python/buy a Vulture!"

And I like exploring. ~35KLY out, returning from DW.

I have a short attention span for trading too. I could easily be making 3-5 million a go via A-> B-> A trading Imp slaves, and it's much easier than fighting, but I just end up zoning out, and forget whether I'm coming or going, lol. Sometimes find myself buying from the wrong station, or docking to "sell" but having nothing to sell, lol.
