So, how much have you lost since 2.1 dropped.

Racked up another couple million in fines for abandoned/failed missions that were bugged.

So far I'm just bleeding credits.

Bugs are bugs, and yes, the missions need some love, but based on the Engineers feedback response regarding gaining rep with Engineers, missions are costly to implement and work on.

Either way, feel free to report any specific bugs and get in touch with support if you want reimbursement for any losses due to bugs.

I can finally say I lost something. I was flying around in my speagle and smacked into a canyon wall. But ive gone from 123 in total assests to 149 so I haven't actually lost any money.

which new a class thrusters?
Yeah. I wondered that. I thought the new thrusters only went up to class 3, so won't go on an Asp.

They WERE a set of A5's, speed actually went down a notch (without 4 pips in engines). I put the A4's back in today but I think I've made the thing too massive now.

In any event, this thing still steers like a cow which is a shame since I have all those neat sharks with lasers attached to their heads in the front. If I could only turn fast enough to aim them (yes, even tried doing an FA-off turn, during an interdiction and turns are still too slow as far as I'm concerned). Looks like this is an "explore in the black" only type of ship for me at the moment. I keep sliding back to the Cobra Mk III for battles. At least there, I have a fighting chance.

5A's. That what you wanted. The 4 is too small, the 3 even more so.

Start with the number you'll get confused less. I had to go comfort my Asp after she saw your post :( now I have to go kill things again to make her feel better

Lost 23 mill to a Fur de lance.I get interdicted every 3 jumps or so by Fur de lance's and Anaconda'a. There super strong I can barely get away if I do.Getting pulled out of warp all the time is annoying as hell and I cant survive what keeps interdicting me. I quit playing for now until they undo this crap. I don't play so I can lose ships and credits.

Yeah I decided it was a good time to head way out in the darkness and get a lot of scanning data, then when frontier fixes this I'll head back and cash it in with Felicia and increase my ranking with her.

I must apologize for the confusion, I should have taken the time to log in and check before posting. They were actually 5A. None-the-less, didn't help. Even with FA off and a faster turn because of it, it's still too slow on rolls or turns to beat much of anything else. My Cobra still makes the better fighter, though I wish it had the number of hardpoints that the Asp has.

He he, thanks, hope "she" feels better. I did put the 5A's back in this evening, took it to Tod the Blaster's home system for some work at the nav aid, never made it; got interdicted part way there. It worked 'better' in a way, but he still got my hull down to 30% before that damned pirate decided to high-wake out of the battle. Took it back to Serebrove station, licked my wounds and got back in the Cobra. It just plain works better for me. Perhaps one of the engineers can tweak my engines later on in the game. ;)

I lost around 7 million in repair costs with my Corvette, always managed to get away. Closest call was today, got hit by a Clipper with those funky plasma multicannon bugs. 100% Shield and 100% hull down to 22% Hull in 6 seconds. Thruster malfunction and all into Supercruise, managed to get away. 700K for that event alone. Same thing with a Python with railgun multicannons, from 100% to 40% in less than 10 seconds.

I can see people not having that much luck, flying smaller ships or less tanky builds and just getting vaporized.

Same with conflict zones, apparently as soon as you flag for a faction a really flash neon sign pops up over your ship saying "mess up my day" and all hell breaks loose.
Even with 4 pips in shields I have moments where I have to leave 20 seconds after flagging for a faction because my shields are about to pop.

oh my god, you guys are like making me look a really bad pilot now, come on, somebody must have lost a few ships as well as me.

Ok, but who else has been mining in an Anaconda 250 max boost speed.
Next time i will use my Python, or Asp, at least there cheaper to lose, if i continue with my conda, i will be bankrupt pretty quick.

I have parked my A-Class python and have converted my FAS to go looking for Engineer stuff for just the reason you have outlined.

Today I nearly lost the FAS to a serial interdictor, time and time again, throughout several systems the same ship, a deadly FDS, "Cheesebaker". I outran him, lost him on sensors, but he must have THARGOID mods to track me through the switches I ran (of course, this is a programming sequence that is built in, maybe it needs tweaking to allow a chance at evasion).

The FAS is fast on boost to run away, as I have been doing quite a bit lately. Interdictions have become more common, and the interdicting ship rankings are on the heavy side, deadly and elite, very few small ships. Also, my Python can't evade well in the in the escape route mini game, too slow in turn, the FAS can keep the blue target in sight but that mini game has always been difficult, high fail rate for me (today I had the blue bars up all the way and in a split second they went away and boom, interdicted). The FAS is a LOT cheaper buy back. The FAS is not as enjoyable as my Python which I can loadout to do everything at once.

This may also be an issue, just like the NPC AI just was. You are not the only one loosing ships. Maybe someone should start a vote to see how CMNDRS feel about it.

I would hate to go bankrupt, I would probably quit play, building up reserves to enjoy the game would definitely not be easy or fun under the new reality. The circumstances where you easily accumulate large sums of CR's in a short time have been severely pared back.

About 63 mill, before I got wise enough to just fly in an eagle. Yay the joy

I share your pain! Three ships lost to a tune of about 25mil (Conda + 5mil in imperial slaves, A rated Asp [can't remember what the cargo was now] and a military spec'ed A rated Vulture). It's been a trying week to put it mildly!
I'm down to 16mil cr left and really starting to worry! My buffer cash has been pretty much depleted.

I'm up around 100m. Trading in an iCutter. Interdicted a lot more but many of these are elite anacondas which are fairly easy to evade. However, I go through a lot of heat sinks!

taking soontil relics to engineer and spotted a degraded emission site threat level 0 ok get some easy stuff so i thought, anaconda jumped in and took out my wee python in a matter of seconds 7.4m down the drain and sent back to Khun - arghhh

update: -16 mil CR

Yesterday I got complacent in a high CZ while scavenging materials with my Anaconda. Ended up surrounded by 4 or 5 ships, shields went down despite SCB spam, then FSD got shot out in seconds. No chance to escape, soon I had my taste of the rebuy screen. Lesson learned, don't be half asleep in a high CZ.

I had a 3.5M FDL insurance bill last night.

My own fault though. Took an Elite assassination mission. Target was in an Elite Corvette, we were pretty even until he managed to ram me and take me to 3% hull. Dropped to 2% before I was out of range. Then I noticed security had started to engage him. So with my 2% hull once my shields were back I headed back in making fast passes chipping away at him while system sec kept him busy. On one pass he managed to ram me again, cue insurance screen.

Apart from that I am probably up slightly. Making some decent money from missions (1 mill/mission) with local faction I am allied with.
