Well that lasted 5 mins pushed out the top after 2 hours replace by very Negative waves.
Is 'Negative Waves' some form of random Engineers special effect?

Just remember: Mindless complaining without reasoning never does me much any good when trying to get information to relay to the team. Well thought out posts, and posts that have a good footing and reasoning do catch my attention - those I tend to relay onward.![]()

God dammit, man, I almost choked on my turnip.
But I thought being really angry and making out everyone was leaving was derigeur?
aw I've been doing it all wrong![]()
No, we really really don't![]()

Thats too high of a bar. Most of the people spouting negativity aren't capable of recognizing a coherent argument, let alone forming one.
ok, you got me, i'm biting. Now what mats do i need, and how best to find them for these negative waves, i have loads of other mods, i am having fun collecting them, and i want all the best upgrades, so fill me in on this new one, and what effect does it have, ( i bet it puts the enemy pilot in like a fear mode, so he can't fly good) i haven't heard of it before though.
If you want a "Negative wave" special effect, all you have to do is collect a couple of bugs, apparently.

right ok, and which planet type would i find these.
My only proposal would be to decouple experimental effects completely from the procedurally generated variantes. They are strong enough in their own! Make 'light mounts' exactly is: light variations of the standard weapons. No need for extra "super powers".
Blueprints for special effects, on the other hand, could be given as reward for dangerous (chain) mission or - just as now - by trading-in all the engineer reputation (+ some hard to get materials, of course!).
With this, you would have both: enhanced, procedurally generated variantes of existing weapons and "standard" weapons with special effects that will enable the player to take exacly the battle-role he wants to.
