I think its a great idea especially if it pays well. Problem is there are not a lot of tourist spots out there. The galaxy hasn't been seeded with enough really incredible unusual things or we just haven't found them yet!

That is indeed an interesting connection.... humanity sends out a message in 1962, it reaches X destination Y years later, the unintended recipient replies using our "words". And as you say, UA's have been found in the HD 131336 system which is where the message is currently (in 2016) heading. Interesting...
Edit: BUT - in case someone hasn't read previous posts, this is all speculation based upon a poster claiming to have it figured out, giving us the clue of something Russia did in 1962, possibly non-fiction, that starts with T.

Hmm.... maybe I'm doing something wrong, but searching ed-map.eu I get no hits for HIP 131336... maybe it goes by a different name in Elite? Is someone in-game that could check?
Edit: Another database shows 662.252 parsecs, whatever that translates into in LYs.

Okay good point. HD 131336 doesn't show up in the ED map database either, but that could always be a PEBKAC error. I've tried a few other designations it goes by but no luck so far

Im in CAL SECTOR HW-W C1-7 This is where the wings trailer is set. There is a planet around the prime star that has yellow arers and smallish canyons iv flown round it for a couple of hours with nothing to report in but i wounder has anyone else been here looking for barnacles? i think my refresh rate isn't good enough to find barnacles.
in the video they are taking the UA to Leonard nimoy station. might go and check out the area for probes as we still have know idea how to find them.
