The British have shown once again that they are a very intelligent people and very courageous. Thanks to bring the hope for a new Europe. The democracy is not dead. Great respect for the British ! The British, once again, our liberators ! RESPECT !!

Mark my words too: if you dream of the stars you will go nowhere unless you aren't one Nation.
The EU isn't perfect at all, but to reach the stars it is to go much further than it is today.

Brexit is a clear step back because nationalism is en vogue today but will bring you nothing but isolation.

Regards,
Miklos

I don't mind disagreeing. That's the beauty of democracy. :)

Well... good luck with that

We'll see how many "evil immigrants" the UK can stop at the border, and how much money they save with all their dealings with the rest of Euope becoming more expensive.

...so now the British Political class are in charge of it ALL, lock, stock and barrel. With our countries' policies being dictated by lobbyists, thinktanks and other unelected groups. All change then.

Well, at least they will have to take responsibility for their own decisions now and won't be able to make the EU resonsible for every unpopular law anymore. The EU as the source of all evil in the world was very convenient, wasn't it?

On the other hand - when the Britisch economy and finance sector will struggle in the future, I am pretty sure the mean EU will be blamed, too, as they are not willing to play nice and grant all the benefits they used to when GB was part of the union.

The European institutions and their technocrats and Juncker, Merkel and the other irresponsibles, pay their sufficiency and their self-satisfaction. Their cowardice in front of the Turkish. If Merkel has a bit of pride, she should resign

Merkel has made her Job quite good during the past years. And I rather have her than some Farage or Le Pen ripoff as Chancellor :)

Even more ashamed than usual to be, technically, British this morning. Scotland, as expected, massively voted remain. As usual, our vote doesn't matter - and this time, instead of just being stuck with the Tories for 5 years we're being dragged out of the EU against our will.

A sad day for the uk indeed :(

My local news channel was doing interviews on the street yesterday, one young lad was asked why he was voting to leave, his responose "so we can kick out the immigrants" just about summed up the ignorance that has brought about this awful result.

I really fear that to the rest of europe, all brits now all look like that slimey grinning racist Nigel Farage!

Well infact the British decided to be better anyone else rather than being member of that club. So they are to be dealed with as anyone else and all is matter of negotiantion results in new contracts.
But rebates for membership are gone. In that point you are right. The british people refused to have them by this poll too.

Miklos
