Well and there the Right Wing Radicals go ahead demanding Referendums all over Europe to reclaim nationalism.
I had never tought that one day I would see the World turned around so far. That Britain must be Crushed to prevent Fascism from taking over Europe lol.....

Well. Standart and Poors Announced that Great Britain will likely lose its AAA Rating now.
The Risks of UKs Economy Crashing entirely is too Big to warrant an Triple A Rating.

I dont want to be in Camerons Shoes now.
well being honest I dont want to be in any British Shoes now....

And guess who gets negative interests on treasuries now :p

Well that was a bit of a shock.

I've made no secret that I strongly supported the remain side, and I still believe that the UK will be worse off in both the short and the long term by not being in the EU, and I had hoped that this referendum would never happen. In fact, I voted specifically and tactically Labour in the last election, my reason being an attempt to prevent an EU referendum which I feared would result in this decision. I realize that sounds elitist or suchlike, but my personal opinion is that such complex decisions should not be made by a referendum, and whatever the result, the process itself creates division and bad feeling in the country. We now have the odd situation that we are leaving the EU, in spite of the vast majority of our own UK democratically elected politicians wanting to stay in, and all major political parties bar one were supporting to stay in, whilst the only two world leaders who though it was a good idea to leave were Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin.

However, the democratic process has spoken and now we have the result. We will now leave the EU. What will replace it or follow remains to be seen. Once this process was set in motion, we now have to abide by it.

My fear is that in about a year or two when our currency and stock markets and GDP are still down on where they should have been, we will still be told it's a temporary effect and everything will be much better in a few years.

My congratulations to those who supported leave - I didn't expect you to win and I guess I misjudged the impact of emotion and sloganeering over detailed fact gathering and analysis.

Although I have pointed out several times that supporting the leave side does not mean you are racist, I've been shocked by talking to some of the people who manned stalls on the remain side over the last few weeks, who told me that anecdotally, they were getting a lot more openly racist comments than they had ever seen in any past political campaign. I think this is sad for the country and the world, even though I hope it is still a minority who are truly doing it for this reason.

I do take some hope from the data posted above and reported about voting by age group - I believe younger generations, as they grow older and take control, will rethink some of these things.

The Prime Minister has just announced on the radio that he is resigning within 3 months. For those who were looking to the new open and democratic way of doing things and taking back control, you will now most likely get PM Boris elected by the conservative party with no election and no chance to vote on it. That's UK democracy for you.

Looking on the bright side, with Boris Johnson and Donald Trump as world leaders, it will make plenty of material for satirical comedy shows for many years to come.

As someone who is on the outside of all of this watching as closely as I can from overseas... That doesn't seem like a healthy way of putting things. If people vote to keep their country's sovereignty it does not make them fascists. Don't let mainstream media propaganda get to you... Trust someone who comes from a country that is absolutely riddled with it.

I just saw Cameron getting salty.. What a wonderful day. I can't wait to see that smirk wiped of the face of Osborne. I hope the Tories elect Gove as PM; that would drive a nail in the coffin of that party of evil.

Congratulations to The England!

Now i am waiting for reroll in the Austria, and Trump on the autumn... and then: Good night, left side :)

I have a hope for PolExit and HunExit, maybe V4 exit at all and trade bridge over the ashes of Europe Union, with UK.

Please. Who's being condescending? Reread your own post and take a good hard look in the mirror.

A good taste of the Famous Black Humour of the British I guess. lol

And well.
The Funny thing on this is.
With Cameron Resigning it will likely take quite a while before UK even Officially puts the Contract down to even Request Leaving the EU.

I guess Brussels is in complete Uproar now.
German Politicians have already Announced Today. That they will Fight for an as Hard as Possible Stance against Britain giving them not a Single Meter on Negotiations.
Or to put it more Directly.
German Politicians Say that UK will either Pay the Full Fees and Accept all Conditions Set by Europe. Or will not get a Deal at all.

The Months to come will be Chaotic I guess.

The EU is finished bro. ;)

I doubt that.

And even if it should be finished: The collapsing of the biggest free trade zone of the world is not a thing to be happy about.
The whole world would suffer from the consequences. :)

The EU is "too big to fail".

I am quite shocked about how this referendum came out.
While it isn't touching me directly at the moment (coming from Germany), it will have an effect in the future. Mostly negative in economical means I think...

On the other hand I'm quite tempted to go on a shopping spree right now since the GBP's transaction course dropped so low since the early hours ;-)

Rome fell and EU will.

It have nothing to the trade zone. Countries can make a trade deals with each other. Who will prohibit to make trade deal between UK and Poland, or any other country? Nobody.

EU is an overgrown bureaucracy, with leaders not chosen by a people, but appointed. This is anti-democratic being.

I'm not British but this is an issue with politicians overall as well: they simply don't take people's emotions seriously enough and things happens a little too late. Politicians never learn.
