Other socialistic block, with totalitary aspirations, on the east side of Eurasia also fell.
My comparison is pretty accurable, and similar ill causes a Rome fell as it cause fell of European Union - Read something more about The Rome ;) Or some free-media information about EU.

Size no matter. If body is ill, then a big body can fell.

The EU is neither the Roman Empire nor the Soviet Union nor is the world anything alike the world back then.

David Cameron: "I think the country needs a new leader." --- Boris ?

pants I hope not.. that being said, I do not know who.

on one hand I think it should be somone of the leave campaign who should lead, that way they can ing stand by any potential mess they made (or look pretty if it all goes well)

on the other hand personally i would not vote for any of the leave people to run our country. I do not mind Boris per se, and I do not think he is as big a bufoon as the persona he portrays, but leader of Britain?
No way.

it is going to be strange for many of the people negotiating the exit strategy given a lot of them, exiting is the last thing they wanted.

Going to be interesting how they untangle the laws governing the UK .. many of them were EU enacted so there's going to be a lot of rapid change / cleanup .. and you can bet that lobbyists will move in seeking an opportunity.

We might go back to that time very well if guys like Patrick there are right.
Anyone just looking at the People who are currently Demanding Referendums and who are throwing Parties now about UK leaving Europe can notice something fairly Obvious.

Its all Right Wing Radical Parties.
In Germany the NPD (The Heir of the NSDAP or for those who dont know that. The Party which Ruled      Germany under Hitler) has Congratulated UK to the Decision and is now Demanding an Referendum for Germany to leave the EU as well.

Just so People get an Idea just who it is currently throwing Parties.

I understand, but in the press, Boris is designated for months as the natural successor to David. In France, Boris is regarded as a very intelligent person. Eccentric but very intelligent

Our Research group is looking to move to move to the European Bioinformatics Institute, which is a European outstation based in Cambridge and essentially is like a little piece of europe in england. Obviously it is too soon to say what will happen, but given it is funded by European money (the worried) part of myself can imagine it relocating.

I guess it depends what happens with the free trade agreement going forward (however any free trade agreement will involve keeping our borders open, which lets be honest, is the main topic which made Brexit "win".

Perhaps our wonderful political masters should have remembered spending the last 20 years using immigrants as a bogeyman and a whipping boy to alternately blame and scare the population when they decided to hold a referendum on EU membership.

Mrs Stigbob is an EU migrant she's been in the UK for over a decade paying more in taxes than most of us earn in total, and she was raised and educated abroad costing the UK nothing. She's done nothing but contribute more to the to the UK than most brits, now she no longer feels welcome here because of the anti-immigrant hostility and propaganda that took the place of actual politics.

Have you already been deported to a gulag? Or has someone dragged you to Rome to fight in a colloseum? I guess that fight is going to get a lot of likes on FaciemBook and in RomeNet.

The grandfather of my mom was. Me and my parents lived at the other side of the iron curtain. And my childhood was in the 'martial law state', in the Poland.

I guess you dont. You know nothing about fear, freedom of speech, police bullying and totalitarism. And EU is closing to it.

I guess you dont.

But you weren't. And the grandfather of your mom hasn't lived in the EU, has he?

Nope, I don't. But I live in a country which made very bad experiences with a democracy which is manipulated by hate, fear and xenophobia.

A big part of my family died during that time, too.

Very close to. And i regret my country moves from one kolkhoz to the another.

yes, it is.
Replying to me by just saying yes it is is very childish to be perfectly honest

And if youre saying the EU is like the USSR then surely you should make the same with Britain itself. Children are indoctrinated in schools with 'Fundamental British Values' and how democracy is great, as were children in the USSR, but they were indoctrinated to believe communism was amazing. Injustices as bad as the ones in the USSR are committed every day- all in the name of the 'We know best' Nanny state. Like the matter of the child living with her grandparents for 6 years, because she was abused by her parents. But the state comes along, knowing full well what the parents were like and gave her back. She was dead within the year. I know of a fair few more. The USSR killed people too in the name of the state.

If you are saying the EU is like the USSR its only fair to make comparisons such as these. You could probably do it with any country anywhere in the world if you so wished.

Just remember 48% of us had no problem not all of us have an issue with immigrants and even those who do, I think it is not people actively contributing to our economy it is just people who believe the (imo) fear mongering in the daily mail.
