The fact that Liverpool was yellow makes me wonder if it was a map of The SUN readership.
You know, by coincidence, it probably is. Assuming blue areas are Sun buying ones, that is.

I am not normally an MP appologiser but in this I cant agree.. like the guy or not they way I see it is this.
YES his job is (was) to lead the country through bad times AND through good..... generally.
However if the voters were for vote for something so against what he believes in and that he feels goes against what he stands for then I can see why he may feel he either is unable, or unwilling to push on.
Brexit is not something forced on us due to an act of God or an act of war, for better or for worse it is something we have decided for ourselves, and is something which he was absolutely against. In a way having the person lead the country in a direction which they are personally directly opposed to is not something I would want anyway. Really it needs to be led by someone who was involved in persuading the country to go down this road and let them sink or swim with it.
Sadly this means probably Boris.

We should recognize the point that overall across the country, we were (still are at this moment) a net contributor to the EU, so if you leave out all other factors, in theory there would be more money to distribute to those regions.
However, do you trust a conservative government with right wing leaders in the ascendancy to do so? These regions receiving this EU money are mostly not tory seats and not likely to be any time soon. Where do you think they will choose to send the money?
And still no-one talks about the dangers now facing our environment and wildlife without the EU protection laws.
The second Scottish Independence Referendum will be because of the very clear split in the opinions of England and Scotland over Europe. It would only be fair that the question should be about leaving the UK specifically to join the EU. It would be important that everyone's vote on this counts, but there is a chance that you'd find yourself in the minority. I take it that you've seen this map..

Unfortunately Indy ref 2 for Scotland is almost inevitable, not quite but pretty much a certainty. Nicola Sturgeon has already come out and said they are planning for it.

Also Boris might like to play up to the bumbling image but he is a dangerous man and not someone I want to be in charge of the NHS and benefits.
Anyway, I hear Canada is nice.
Don't like how it's gone then people should have tried to fit in better and adjust culturally to the country they moved to for a better life.

Wife told me the same - the sole reason for nice beaches at Blackpool and the likes is down to EU law forcing local councils to clean up.
Do people not remember back in the 80s being told not to paddle there in case that thing floating in the water wasn't a piece of bark ?
Once the EU laws have been untangled from UK law do you honestly think lobbyists / politicians / businesses are going to give a [expletive] about our environment if it hurts their pocket ?
