4. The black box snapped the last images of the pilot and co-pilot getting the kinky started just before someone sat on the wrong keys

I don't know what the difference in processing is between your image and the one on the first page, but there are darker areas in the two left quadrants which suggest its not just glow. It also looks a bit big compared to the glow on the ends of other lines.

I've been looking at the sonogram & I think its decoding has been overcomplicated. I suspect the glyphs on the left and right hand sides are tinsel, for show- they aren't echoes & don't seem to me to have any meaning other than perhaps to provide resemblance to the Voyager record glyphs. I think the 4 glyphs around the circle are 3142 to show both mathematical understanding of pi, and to show that a vertical logarithmic scale should be used to render it as a circle.
The sequence of actions to be taken then goes around in a clockwise direction from upper left, which is a natural order. I think the instructions are to go to Merope 5C ( since that is pointed at), enter the atmosphere (top left quadrant) & drop out of cruise above the centre of the smaller crater within the largest crater, then proceed on a heading of approximately 138degrees towards the barnacle cluster while repeatedly honking the ADS to cause the UP to sing. I suspect the graphic is saying this will release subterranean aliens & they will exit the surface (bottom left quadrant)- I think the video of a deep cave recently posted on the thread was a test case for the devs. I am not sure if the UP will respond while it is in your hold, or even if the UP song is needed to be the key to unlock the aliens, perhaps the ADS alone would do it; maybe this has to be done in the SRV with the UP? But then will it sing & can you do that without it decaying?

As far as I know, Kerrash doesn't know the answer. He might know more small details then we do, but definitely not the answer.
