Then forward appropriate video evidence to FD and handle it that way. Forum posts will accomplish little unfortunately.

Really? That's what this game has come to?
Jumped on by 4 Cmdrs - The Pilots federation allows this behaviour?
I have names if the officials are interested in revoking permits to this system.

I love that!

its all about you. If you cant make it work out, get some friends help you.
Seriously, its fee and open.

Lots of help out there, open is a friendly place - really.

seriously

Yet another reason for open mode to be Abandoned. Deserted. Ruined.

Other players are the reason we can't have nice things.

Quite the contrary - open mode is awesome. Managed to get in and disrupt their game a little, not much. As I said - anywhere else I really couldn't give a damn, however this is a special system in Lore and imo needs to be treated as such by all pilots. The local authorities need a way of revoking system permit imo.

Will add too, they're wandering around with wanted tags and hardly ever getting scanned - maybe getting the rozzers a little bit more active would help?

This is cool... start a thread on being "Griefed" and all the alleged "Griefers" come on and give you some more ...well..."Grief.."
Hilarious [big grin]

Killing people who think (out loud) that they shouldn't be killable who willfully chose the Open mode option is grounds to go on and kill that person on purpose rather than just randomly meet them. It's like being the CEO of a identity theft company and going willfully online / public media and giving out your social security number and daring hackers to give it a shot.

That's also not griefing. It's karmic balance to entitlement.

All modes aren't for everyone. if you dont like the chance of randomly getting killed for absolutely no reason then maybe try private / solo. If you roll with a crew or like the added risk - then open is for you. Learn what you like and play it. No big deal, and not griefing.

I have well over a month of tens of thousands of system exploration data. If i get killed coming back to the bubble in open it's all lost. That's still not griefing. And that's how i plan on doing it.

Yep, the usual response.

There is no ground for complaint. Everything allowed by game mechanics and EULA is OK. That said, crime and punishment does not work in any logical way and hopefully it will improve further. Founder's world should be a high security system swarming with police, a place where wanted commanders are swiftly dispatched. Maybe one day. And I'm saying that in support of PVP. I see C&P improvements as a necessary step before PVP pirating / PVP missions can become viable.

Sign up for Mobius until you're ready and equipped to deal with people trying to kill you for lulz.

I suppose every trader/explorer/noob should aware at this point in time that going into open and then QQing is disliked here. You are going to get destroyed in open, period. If you can't afford it, don't go there. Treat open as the perma deathmatch pvp server.

make sure you also report them to the british authorities, if you need the number for the police let me know.

Not really. Those occurrences are few and far between. New players would benefit from the advice that it's worth being wary when going to "known" destinations. These include starter systems, CGs and other known points of interest. Aside from that people are more than likely to either not run into anyone or have a friendly experience.

I like some Houses of Parliament sauce now and then. Not too easy to find in the States though unless you're out in New England.

Haven't made it back to the bubble yet from Jaques. Not really in a rush though either. Taking things nice and slow after the long and fast paced trek out here. Seems others may have made it back well before me.

Not sure what point the OP is trying to make exactly. From other responses, it sounds a bit like the pot calling the kettle black. Not for me to say either way though, nor do I really care all that much for player meta drama. The lack of information and need to start a thread about it did make me a bit curious none the less.

They are nice and say mostly "Hello Oogie" bevor the attack my. Gives me a last adrenalin kick bevor I come home usually. On the other hand - lovely lovely - you were flying in a shieldless Sidewinder around the station which make me very suspicious.
