UAs, Barnacles and other mysteries Thread 8 - The Canonn

Tried to remove as much background as possible, and isolate just the tweets, this is what I end up with:

I hear four basic elements:

1. a low tweet at 800Hz
2. a high tweet at 1,600Hz
3. a mash of the frequencies between 800–1,600Hz, which sounds like the mid tone
4. a very high mash from 1,600–2,400Hz, which sounds like a Dolphin being fed a fish

There appear to be two basic lengths, a short, and a long. The bits that seem longer look more like consecutive long tweets.

looks to me like PCM (pulse code modulation) - U should try and measure frametime of each tweet, the outer ones might be the frame with a discreet number of pulses
both long tweet and short tweet times should be dividable by pulse time. lowest common denominator (or a harmonic of that) would be the "triplet? / byte? size".
At least this way it works if U are analysing an unknow radar-signal U suspect to transmit data too..... (here u look for discreet steps in pulse frequency - PFM pulse frequency modulation)

i think we are up to 3 or 4 confirmed ammonia worlds in different systems now i think 40ly is the max from merope, so we need to see how far that bubble extends out as well

in order to decode UP M5C transmissions properly, please attache screenshot of system where U do recording as well as galactic coordinates please.
It might give us the statistic data we need to crack it.

CONGRATULATIONS to ilo and to everyone is trying to decode the new signal!
I told you the drawing was the key to decode the transmission!
Perhaps not the purrs, but there's a new transmission we still don't know if it's related to them.
Anyway the Ammonia chemical representation could be a thing.
The circle could be how THEY draw the Ammonia molecula, as ilo's friend told us.

I'll update the FP as soon as possible!

Ok now ive found a new system, im going to head out to find a ammonia terristrial world at a range of 115-135Ly from merope to see if the bubble extends that far out

This reminds me, we shouldn't let the glorious moment where the UP's message to Merope was first discovered be forgotten:

Spoiler due to language:

my internet connection is back... and surprise : someone found the free floating UP in space.

omg... if i think how many times i searched in the pleiades ... -_-

congratulations to the cmdr who found it.

..and now: ROCK AND ROLL !!

Not sure if reported but theres a capital ship in Pal Sector RO-Q B5-0 (planet 4) while planet 7 fits the bill as an ammonia terristrial with life, ill report if and as soon as i find a unknown probe here.

Theres at least 30 landables in this system to, if we are looking for tip offs or crashed alien ships it could be a high priority system.

And btw this is the first capital ship / convoy beacons outside the nebula ( so barnacles could be there as well) its about 30ly from merope

Anyone got any thoughts its an odd system

Picture/video?

Congratulations on finding the free-floating UP. This is a huge step forward and I am very proud of the CMDRs who stuck with it and saw the physical, raw exploration through to this conclusion.

Sadly I'm over halfway to Jacques now, so I won't be coming back for the party anytime soon, but I am happy you guys can now begin new experimentation based on this.

Just... promise me you'll be careful. Space doesn't sound right, this far out from the bubble. I think dark things are coming.

Fed cap ship or Imp? If it's a Fed ship, it could be where the Fed convoys are getting their Probes from. The source, if you like. Good find

Nobody searched for UP's near Ammonia worlds before? NOBODY?!

LOL!

Anyway, congratulations! Now hurry up with that signal so i can sleep agian at night.

They were searched...

But these are in low orbit, pretty much on the drop-out safety line; and the spawn rate is very low, most people are hanging out for an hour or so before finding them.
