If Sothis goes offline what would be the next best place be ?

I'm not familiar with much of the galaxy but right now I'm just running missions.

If Sothis goes offline where would the best place to be to grind hauling missions ? Or are people currently working on finding a new system :D ?

Hell yeah, please put here the "best" next system to give people a new target for UA bombing :D

UA bombing is a big effort and there's only a small amount of trolls doing it.. I guarantee you after 2 or 3 stations they'll just stop doing it.

How will anyone ever learn where good missions are at if we don't share it ?

here is a list: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/229162-Systems-Outside-the-Bubble

27 options.

there are some more now.

also, how about doing something else, like economic state depending trading in the bubble or skimmer missions or 3p mining for boom economies ... or or or?

Thanks how do I know there will be good hauling missions there though ? I was hoping someone could shed some light on some good mission board stations.

Or do all of those contain good mission numbers ?

*Sigh - yet another "Oh noes, if I loses my easy credit grind spot where will I goooooooooes" thread.*

For goodness sake people - how about you actually just play the flippin' game without having to always be spoon fed everything?

There's MORE than enough information on these forums and the internet in general (this isn't the ONLY forum dedicated to ED you know ) to point you in the right direction.

The list already linked here and countless other places gives you what - TWENTY SEVEN DIFFERENT PLACES to go and check out and see whats going on!!

*Gasp! You may actually have to work and grind some local faction rep before you get the "have 20 squillion credits for hauling my poop" missions - cue wailing of hair and gnashing of teeth!

OK - Monday morning rant and rave over with - carry on CMDRS. :D

all of those location have the potential of good hauling missions - depending on economic state and your reputation with the local faction.

there is no better way than to take a ship with a good jumprange and go looking for the mission boards (because economic state in galaxy map don#t show the state of all local factions).

imperial players fly corvettes with white paint jobs?

Actually that is one thing I will say, in my efforts in the Pleiades conflict, if it was one thing I saw in the ships of the Imperial Cmdrs I winged up with, none of them flew rank locked Core Dynamics ships, Vulutres, yes, but no Corvettes, FDSs, FGSs or FASs

After 2.2 starts, they would probably do this by verifying if the crew were indentured or contracted.

I don't. Especially after you've provided them with motivation to keep going!

It's exactly this type of 'this has stopped working, I will find follow the herd to somewhere else because I only want the money grind' style of play that they are trying to curtail, and the lack of concern for the plight of these stations that they wish to highlight. If nothing is done, there will be 27 stations left...then 26...25. Eventually any well-published long range haul will get shut down and Commanders will have to find their own high-profit routes and keep quiet about them. lest they also be bombed. That is unless the players who are losing out try to fix things and can muster the will between them to out-do a relatively small faction.

The thing that is making it easy for them is apathy in the face of their assault. The concern for profit over sustaining and helping the stations is their greatest ally.

who like to help, trades in MA.

and there is really no need to keep quite. there are literally thousands routes, and they often change in days. iT's like saying: don't talk about where you get a good espresso in italy, because the bar will be overcrowded soon ;-)

20 mio/h? that's achievable by state depending trading in the bubble (extraction in boom to hightech/industrial in noom, or medicines from a boom system to a civil war systems), if you fly a t9... a rough estimate is 2000 routes like that today.

for longrange missions ... there are quite some threads on all systems out if the bubble. around 30 ingame.

Really? Can you make that much per hour hauling medicine?

I will have to try that.
Problem is that currently the starmap very often gets system states wrong.

yes, the galaxy map is 24h behind. i usually take a ship with a good jumprange (my dbe) to scout potential routes, before taking my trutter to milk it.

highest profit on basic medicines is ~3500 cr/h. for 20 mio/h with a trutter including basic, you need an industrial system in boom, and an extraction system with wars/civil wars, with a competetive gold or palladium price, and do 3 a-b-a runs an hour.

even better is medical diagnostics equipment, which has a max profit of 5000 cr/t.

another classic is performance enhancers export and palladium or gold import from boom systems.

those routes highly depend on states, and therefor are only working for some days ... for the same reason, 3rd party tools are unrelieable for that --- but they help you to identify potential sources.

What's the max number of players per E:D P2P instance ? 64 ? Not even counting offlie ..err sorry .. solo online players and private groups : kill you on sight menace is a bravado !
If you don't agree to play by their rules, they can't kill you, the game mechanics prevent it.
Now, please avoid them using said mechanics and, while making cash semi AFK, buy some pop corn to watch them cry on the forum because of the so unfair non-open-modes.
And remember, best tears are griefer's tears.

Indeed, if we can't see you we can't get you.

Although let's be fair, no amount of tears is gonna beat the last few days until Sothis is taken out

To be honest, I didn't see much ranting on the forums. If Sothis goes down, then I'm off to Aditis, HIP 74290 or whatever strikes my fancy. So will everybody else.

There's simply no way you can stop anybody from getting an Asp and putting 10 or 15 millions worth of hauling missions in the 30-ish possibly similar systems. You cannot bomb 30 systems before I make all the money I want and I stop needing serious money.

In fact, the couple threads regarding Ceos/Sothis which are currently semi-active are educating people about similar systems, thus making this activity better known and more readily availiable, and all the boredom and efforts of the bombers will eventually have ONE SINGLE OUTCOME: more and more people discovers this source of income and put it in practice, emptying other aspects of the game.

You don't see much ranting? There's been at least 9 or 10 threads of non stop crying I'm the past 10 days. One thread has around 550 posts with a number of others not far behind
