I've been away. Has it been noted that Dillon (Dock) and Kohl (Terminal) are station names, but Granger is not?
no it hasn't.
And while certainly interesting, if that's what's meant by those names, then it kinda makes the rest of the clues unintelligible no?

Yeah. Seen to many people mistake the usual ambient noise for something strange.
Could add weight to Granger being the key and an NPC. But yes, no smoking gun of an observation.

On Xbox and not technically advanced enough to figure it out.
Just to make sure what I'm experiencing hasn't been recorded I will describe it.
Static on wave scanner with ghost or phantom scans popping up regularly.
(Something on the upper band very faint and when I narrow it down it disappears. )
Strange glitches shadows that move and pop in and out.
Fairys on the ground map that seem to coming from the same area as disappearing scans.
Creepy sounds in background.

Could you at least take a pic of the screen with your phone, please? What you're describing is very hard to believe.
I used to play on Xbox, to record the last 30 seconds, hit the Xbox button twice and it should say 'X for a screenshot' and 'Y for a recording' or the other way around. I forget, it's not hard to do.
That or record on your phone like everyone else is saying to.

I know what your talking about. Someone I know was having the same problem. We dont think its a bug either.
This may turn out to be nothing but this has popped up on the Reddit, https://www.reddit.com/r/EliteDange...face_light_emissions_on_ross_1291_discovered/. I will pop over to Ross 129 tomorrow and try to confirm, but just wondering if anyone else has seen this post or maybe even checked for the "anomaly".
I got really creeped out so I recalled my ship.
No problems in ship just one weird sound.
A very faint sound the sounds like a ship fuel scooping.
How do I post pics from phone I keep trying.
Also watch out the crater near those coordinates is a bit deeper than it appears. Sudden drops are hidden by glitches shadows.
