After 2 years of research I can see there are enough intelligent CMR's who really do want to have a peaceful 'First Contact'' with whatever we meet, I only wonder what the new species will think of us, especially if they can read this forum.....

Yes! but do you realize it only takes one Cmdr who doesn't want to make it peaceful to unbalance the whole universe?

Be advised, CMDRs, around 30 minutes ago I was outside the Bridger Enterprise, Cail system, experiencing space madness and just wandering around, when i was rammed by an FDL. Fortunately, my courier shield was sufficient to let me survive and run to the station. Thank Gods, the FDL didnt open fire. This FDL CMDR (unfortunately i do not remember his full name, only Lord F-) told us gathered in the station that this system is under jurisdiction of the Smiling Dog Crew, so please prepare for your rebuys. As a player with almost no experience in PvP ask you to provide system security in Cail and Apademak not only for me, but for others who, unlike me, cannot afford the rebuy cost. Until now, I have only seen one ship, but its obvious a greater force will be insystem today during the main events

I was reading other threads on this, namely it would not be fair on the majority of players who wish for peace only for it to be snatched from their grasp because of an aggressive group of players wishes just to start a war, so some CMR's have surmised that we may infact meet 2 new species of ''Alien life'', one that it malevolent and one that ask's for our help. The same happens on the other side of this story.. what if the alien species wants to smash us? it would not be fair for them if we just found a 'betrayer' alien that abandoned his system looking for peace and we consider it a representative, isn't it?

Thanks for the heads up. They were expected, however.
The question is, can we do something to protect those, who cannot protect themselves ?
Earlier I saw a CMDR flying T7 in Cail, poor sod told me its his only ship and he cant afford any other atm. I can only imagine what an easy target he would make.
Is it possible to call Iridium Wing or similar organizations to protect those systems ? Big ships rebuy cost is immense, so SDC raiders probably cannot afford their ships destroyed too many times.

Bullet 3 is weak and represents a theory.

There is a wing in Apademak trying to interdict people as well, it was a corvette that went for me, I don't know what else they have. Very tiresome.

Well, we are in the middle of it, where some speculation is unavoidable at the moment.
To be honest, the "white" shouldn't be there, it came from a copy and paste, so my bad.
I've added the word SPECULATION for your pleasure, and a fourth bullet with another interpretation
And to be honest again, I've modified the FP some hours ago, after your post about both Granger or Dillon being the BH.
If you have a better suggestion for bullet 3 I'll be happy to change it, no problem.
However, the FP is to document the overall progress, theories and speculations included, if there is nothing more plausible or documented at the moment: that's what the Breaking News section is for.
The Gospel goes in the other sections only after it's become gospel.
Anyway, Granger or Dillon, Black or White, the places to be and the time, are the relevant info, for now.
