Too many posts to keep up with on my phone but has anyone thought of this;

The red dude carrying fish. . . People are saying nothings happened, right? Some might say this guy was a red herring. . .

(for those who arent familiar with the term, a red herring is an intentionally led distraction. . .)

Thoughts?

Well what does this ''message'' say then all i can find is a pic of a harmless t9.. if its fake the msf will be bunk if its real it will make sense?

If it's been spotted on both XB and PC/Mac - then it's not human-controlled. Unless there's two people in both environments, obviously lol.

If one or two people get in solo and SC around - if you find Kohl, then it's not human.

Anyway, I'm going with it - it's not a hoax, the search has succeeded, now on to the next bit.

After spending two weeks searching for invisible barnacles in solo/private groups - I am disappointed that this couldn't just have been implemented in all game modes. How hard would it have been?

It might seem trivial (as long as someone gets the info and things progress, who cares?), but this thread generates an enormous amount of interest and community involvement - when it comes down to something actually 'dramatic' happening - it slips by 99% of the people taking part in a really disappointing way. :S

What an anticlimax ... at least for now.

I did really really hope, that the two times of "10:00" and "21:00" would have been a clever idea by FD, to adress the different timezones players are in.
So that every CMDR around the world, would have a chance to participate in this, at a reasonable time.

Now i've been in/at Cail since 9:30 (ingame time) and so far nothing. Zero. Nada.

The "21:00 in game" would be "23:00 german real time", and monday is a normal working day in the rest of europe. Yeah, UK's got a bank holiday - hooray !
So, timing something on a sunday is, let's say, sub optimal.

Given that this got hyped on all different ways and channels, and all the riddels and all, this is by far the most dissapointing ingame expirience for a long time.

Sorry to say that.

So the "Hunt is on, on the 28th" ?

Don't think so, or something did not work out as intended.

At least i met a lot of CMDRS in Open, which was a first for me.

That yet we still have apadamke at 2100 and we are supposedly looking for a M class star ( with no planetary bodies in system) so a m9 or m0 on its own is the best bet forward

No one was stating it as facts properly though, everyone at this point is still speculating and that's all it's been, speculation, and speculation is welcome, that's where ideas form to try to figure things like this out.

If it is a FDev playing a Cmdr as an NPC how would they join you in Solo?

I'm assuming from the deafening silence that nobody has made any more recent sightings?

Can't see a T-9 in system any more, since he low-waked from the instance, about 20-30 mins ago.
