I was hanging out at the hub in Cail and got a random "Mission Critical" message to search for military plans in HIP 20-something. Been searching USS's there for 2+ hours. Nothing.
And therein reinforces my issue. I spent a good 30 minutes on then, and saw one pilot after multiple drop in/outs.

being herded back to cail now, its a bit late for trying to salvage things, i think im going to take leave and see what apadamak brings , it looks like only a few individuals will actually be able to access it anyway and the rest of us will miss the non immersive content and merely be spectators in a limited open only thing.
No solo and private, a underwhelming effort to be sure, ill pop back up tomorrow maybe theres something we can actually connect with next time
Well, seems like everyone is getting a chance to help now, with a new CG.
Why is it a failure? Why do you want a days event it be solved in 30 minutes.

Scepticism is healthy. At least see it through and allow people to prove you wrong.
Declaring something is outright false and then abandoning ship is not recommended.
Always allow for more time to either support that it's an outright troll, or dispute it.
In this case a video is the strongest piece of evidence we've had.
Now we have some baseline for what a troll COULD be, or what COULD be genuine.
We know how to prove it when 21:00 comes around.
More people are at the ready to provide evidence, should they encounter something similar.

Sorry, not buying this as an Open only event - that would be crapitude beyond anything else FD have done to date.
Search your feelings, young padawan. In your heart you know that this is exactly how FD would do this. Remember, gameplay is greater than realism but greater than both is cheapness.
