I am still in a Sidewinder and it has been no barrier to any of this
Perhaps our sweaty pvp dudes can blow away all the dev's and mod play accounts too.. oh wait.. my bad.. i forgot duh..

Sitting on the only landable on Pik Tok and just waiting for it to get close to 3. This hunt has already had it's downsides, SDC for one, but for the most part I feel ED will try and correct anything that doesn't go according to their plan, as we have seen with the new CG. Lets not get sidetracked on this thread complaining and hindering eachother. This isn't about open or solo, it's not about SDC, it is about science, discovery and the hunt. We've got our next clue, 3pm GMT @ PIC TOK. Let's all take a breather and collect ourselves and get ready for another clue to solve. On a side note, I want to thank all those who have tried to keep us on track, i've been guilty myself of pushing ideas that were disproved or sidetracking the conversation but I've always been pushed back on track by the right people. This has been the greatest thread to follow and I'm excited to call myself a part of it, even if it's in the smallest and non consequential(?) way. And they aren't elitist PvPers, either: 'PvPer' is a different and distinct type of person to 'hangs out at hubs and shoots fish in barrels using a Corvette/Cutter/Conda'
To get a clue you needed to land on a planetary base. Chances of needed Horizons is quite high.

Yes, if they have only one place to look and that is the icy planet from the stream. However, they may have multiple ones, one on the planet and another a persistent signal source in orbit somewhere.
