I think the confusion started because GMT was mentioned in the encrypted message we got from the "CG".
I'm pretty sure that the game server runs on GMT but without any day times savings(Cause space) so more likely UTC/GMT with a bit of deviance due to it being a game and having a chance to be behide or ahead of the realworlds GMT
(that also means the Game clock is the same time as GMT on most cases)
