I think it's super cool that Frontier employees are taking the roles of characters in-game. It's like a live action roleplay game. I'd love to see more of this type of interaction. It's ultimately flawed because of the human element, in a perfect system, a perfect world, where every one plays nice and maturely, this would be a fun, entertaining, wonderful system but that's, unfortunately not the way it is. One of the characters was already killed by those looking soley to spoil things for others, it just can not work the way they want it to, the way we'd like it to.
Then there's the fact these are one time events, never to be experienced by new players and at most, what? 20, 30 people here on the forums that even know about what's going on and a good handful of those have since given up on the whole endevor. It's ridiculous.

I certainly appreciate the attempt to try something different than scripted narratives, but there is a reason one approach to story telling is common place and the other is not. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Ok 5 mins, now giong dark. (AKA full screen mode)

Was just think there were over 1000 CMDRs through pre gamma system according to station logs. I bet there are a lot of instances at Pic Tok right now, all waiting for (potentially) one Frontiers controlled "NPC".
