100M Top Reward seems pretty clear to me, especially now that you can clearly see the tier line is scaled to 6M Units.

I was referring to the ceiling on the CG ''dynamicbob'', not the profits chap. I have too many credits and nothing to buy with them for the last 9 months or more, Tried all the ships I liked and currently have 3, there is not a lot else you can do with credits except fund research and covertly exploit CMR's, turning them corrupt.

Why is that important? And then there's the potential members of the community: those who do a google search and stumble on this thread: if they see posts from helpful people answering questions in a non-salty manner, encouraging people to get involved, then there's a greater likelihood they'll create a profile and do so.

So please, everyone: remember - not everyone is an old hand at this thread stuff, or the game or its mysteries, but if somebody takes the time to get involved, then the least we can all do is recognise that effort, acknowledge the courage in joining such a mammoth discussion, and respond with postitivity and civility.

This whole little community lives and dies on its ability to attract people in alongside keeping hold of the people it already has - and it's everyone's responsibility to ensure that we are welcoming and appreciative of all new and existing efforts. Denigrating a new poster for not reading the FP or whatever is lazy: being forgiving, tolerant and helpful takes effort, and I'd hope we all share the desire to put that effort in.

The community is king here, we all own a stake in it, and with that stake comes responsibility: make sure you're worthy of it.

well trade affecting local economies , donations to local minor factions, pimping out max ships and inflicting as much damage as u can, pvp if thats youre thing. you are right im in the same boat, out of this im buying a new anaconda (other ones at jaques and cant be bothered to 2.2 to move it) and sothis is a little to easy mode, so the challange here is getting involved in the alien search efforts in every way that the game allows

well i did my best dropped 2500 tons in today in my asp its so full of white dust now its going to need both airlocks opened to eject the white powder into a near by star.

not really for science but for profit and to hopefully move the story on a bit more. it will be over by the morning 4100cmdr and 3.5mil in only 10 hours

side note all this action around cail has a) cuased the cail dictatorship faction to expand into a nearby system b) pending boom which if it fires before the CG ends, then trade opportunites around other goods will be enabled as well as missions as a bit of a side benefit

It is nice to reward the chaps who have tried to get this mystery machine off the ground, some CMR's...well most that is, anyone with kids, anyone with a missus who does not play Elite herself and anyone who didn't start at the Beta time like a lot of us would have never got into the ships that they desired without some help from a CG or smuggling. Just the sheer amount of time it takes to get a half a billion credit Cutter, Corvette or Anaconda is crazy.....thank FD for Alien-Kind......now where do they sell those cheese-burger mini-cannons a fellow CMR told me about.

with the cg as a focus, should we be monitoring pic tok, and other nearby systems that have featured in the hunt for clues or signs outside of the CG, or do we think we need to follow the hand guidance of god, finish the CG and then see where the clue takes us ( 3.5mil tonnes is the latest update)

You know it idea behind a community goal is many hands make light work right?
You don't need to have half a billion credits and a huge ship.
Every small part counts towards the total, even if it is 4 Tons in a Sidewinder

Just the top 10% get the 100 Million reward, however there will be lower reward tiers for the top 30% 70% & 100%s

I think a hauler, adder or cobra is a bit more effective though as a baseline

Man works sucks today itching to earn enough for my python and maybe more as well as to continue helping with this CG as well as meet new CMDRs. Only 39 minutes left of work then home to get back into space. Going to be a long night as well I plan on just putting on a movie marathon and grinding this CG.

be careful this CG is ramping up and could be over within 12 hours so its gong to be tight for all of us getting in on it late ( generally aussie tz)
