If I don't mention it now he'll get on my case, but some credit should go to CMDR BALALAIKAX3, who was the first to find the co-ordinates and post in Canonn Discord.

Whether he was the first outright is unknown, but he discovered those co-ordinates about two hours ago.

EARLy Reconstruction thoughts;-

it reminds me of those helicopter seeds, with the wings that snapped off on impact fixing to segments around the main body and kind of spinning around

Thargoids were always orgnaic. Its definetly thargoid. I can 100% sure safely say that.

It does have 8 sides, though that does not mean it is a Thargoid ship. I would love it if it wasn't and the Thargoids are long dead after the first war.

Unless there was previous contact between the species. Going wild speculation Sci-Fi here, but if you were a race that was conquered by a technologically superior one, then took the fight back to them, you could have reverse engineered their technology and used their ships or something resembling it by using their most effective designs.

And we did hear speculations that the Thargoids 'met' other races.

the colour scheme is different to the UA/UP/barnacles. so it may be Thargoid. Then again, it looks fishy, like the other Unknowns do

It appears to be a ship of alien origin, no further discoveries have been made at this point in time, it doesn't appear to respond in a meaningful way to Unknown Probes or Unknown Artifacts but there's people sciencing the hell out of it as we speak.

Yep and the Imp. Clipper doesn't look like the Imp. Clipper from FE2.

Its been confirmed that the alien species in the game will have completely different design to human vessels and most of what we previously knew about thargoids has been revised, so we cant go off all of the old lore. They also said that they wanted to make something that looked as much organic as it is manufactured, thus continuing along the trend of aliens being very different to humans
