interesting read....until I saw that you guys were on the xbox platform.......kinda just shook my head.
your not even in the main populated version of this game.....
its not like any of the pc guys are gonna be bothered by what you do to the bgs or this stuff with alloys or whatever you were all doing.
not knocking your choice of console......but you guys to us may aswell be in solo mode.
why not post it in the xbox part of the forum?....get your own players to praise you or whatever it is you want.
better still get a gaming pc and a hotas and voice attack and perhaps we can do business[yesnod]

Eh, if you think playing open in xbox is like playing in solo, I can tell you that playing from Australia in open is like doing the tutorials..

No open is like any other open. Depending on location, isp and personal network settings your mileage will vary greatly. Just wanted to stick that into the pot.

As for the OP, you've got to realize the kind of troll you're dealing with. This is a kid that wants to teach players how to work hard and earn their cash by shutting down Ceos/Sothis, you know, because you need to earn what you have in game. And then goes on to brag about making hundreds of millions for minutes of work in the recent CG...gotta know who you're dealing with and just let the troll go back under his bridge.
Guys, we need to appreciate that not everyone wants / needs a PC, I'd like to think that we can respect that and not resort to derisive comments over the choice of platform used for recent actions.
I'm sure Cmdrs playing on PCs wouldn't fire the same level of rhetoric at Cmdrs playing on Macs....

I couldn't care less about the open vs solo issue, or the Xbone vs PC issue either. I play open and PC pretty much all the time and have done since day 1.
I'm just rather annoyed that people who enjoy long range missions aren't able to do them because some people don't like it.
I used to get a kick out of doing Robigo - getting chased by NPC's galore in my slow python, trying to evade scans and sneak into stations un-noticed. It's part of the game that's been taken away from me and many others because some people don't like it.
Shame really.....

That's the irony, nath, it doesn't really cost the whole purchase price.
Here's why: On a PC you can check email, use MS Word, Excel, Access...yes? You can do this for a fair price. The increased price on a PC to take it from a MS Office machine to a gaming machine is about $500....give or take.
An XBox One is about $500...and all it does is play games.
TL;DR
If you do your homework, a gaming PC is no more expensive than an XBone (especially if you need a PC anyway for real life stuff).
My mobile is more powerful than most average desktop office PC's.
