Who better to lead the League of Ordinary Gentlepersons than the Thin White Duke himself?
I would have thought the League of Gentlepersons would be too polite to have anything as Crass as a leader, although ratings that would be quietly mumbled may give an indication of politeness and level of rational thought such a gentle person would have.
its more of an informal group of like minded sane individuals, a club that has unwritten rules of Gentlepersons comportment and carriage.

Just realised the acronym would be L.o.G.
We could have a Combat wing.

we would of course apologise before combat logging.
although a true Gentleperson would not get affronted by being bested in combat, they would return to the rebuy screen, select their ship of choice and return to the game.
obviously if the sequence of in game destruction was due to some bounder attempting to annoy such a Gentleperson, then the Gentleperson would simply select a private group or solo to continue enjoying themselves.
in alignment with such a happening an optional congratulatory note on the forum to the pilot - obviously not naming them directly - may be considered, although most would consider this quite gauche and unnecessary.
This will go down as a very dark day in ED history.

On the theme of general niceness. A couple of nights ago I noticed that NPCs seem to be getting stuck waiting in stations again. So I tried pushing an Asp out of the station with my Vulture. Worked a treat. Last time I tried this I nearly failed the deadline in the mailslot, this time we both went through at 200m/s Got to love lvl5 dirty drives

Got to love lvl5 dirty drives I have taken out my Staedler 2B draftsman pencil and drawn a single dark line under the matter..
Better things to to worry about like colour schemes for SRVs can they be different to main ship or will they all be the same?
Fumaroles and geysers, does this mean volcanic atmospheric planets will be land able and if so up to what partial pressure?
CQC artefacts in game, will you be able to shoot those doors and fly through the middle of the foundry one without getting a fine?
Will 2.2 bring in option for polite conversation with NPC's

Well I voted for instant and am a little more disappointed in the result that I thought I'd be.
The vote wasn't even close so I suppose it shows that most players would prefer a bit more realism in the game. I'll respect the result and the will of the majority and say no more about the matter, other than to congratulate those who were on the winning side. Perhaps, in time, I will come to the conclusion that the decision to delay was the correct one.

I would like to see the "League of Ordinary Gentlepersons" added as a minor faction.
As long as no one makes a terrible movie out of their rise to power, I'd go along with that.
Just wanna say that I promise when the votes come, that if delay wins I will be happy..
