Come to think of it, we have a third player with these ruins. Even accounting for a thousand year gap, humanity wouldn't be able to produce such structures, it's too different from our way of thinking. Even if influenced by alien tech, there would still be several design elements that would identify them as of human origin, as we would use retro engineered tech in our own designs, not adapt such a alien one. These seriously look like Necron stuff, I can smell an eldritch race even from my basement. The rugged look indicates a great age, way more than a mere millenium. That is why, I propose calling them Tombs

Seeing as how the scientists/science-minded folk here who found the UA and UP signals' hidden data like puzzles, I thought you all might be interested in these two recent (real) science articles:
Either stars are strange, or there are 234 aliens trying to contact us (phys.org)
and
Peculiar periodic spectral modulations 234 solar type stars out of 2.5 million stars
The articles go into much detail, but the gist of it is:
"Sloan Digital Sky Survey has analyzed 2.5 million stars and is seeing very short light pulses along with normal light spectrums from their stars. The brief light pulses seen at 234 out of 2.5 million stars is consistent with a high power laser."
Put on your tinfoil hats...
If i understand correctly we are looking for a brown dwarf. With rings! And a dubbel moon?
Well i found them!
http://i.imgur.com/EY4iKBq.pngActually i found dubble Binary moons! in this system!
Maybe this is it!

Ah. So its only the type that's changed not the actual location? It could be that its a bug on USS type. Or it could be that changing from anomaly threat to degraded emissions means the probe has outlived its usefulness and/or completed its mission.
From looking at previous images of the backdrop in the trailer i recommend checking out hind nebula which is bang center of the triangle of the 3 barney nebs. you have the view of pleides and chameleon along with a triangle 3 star there just in the black backdrop of the nebula, you also have im sure if i remember correctly a ringed dwarf with two tidal moons of this texture. Forgot to mention i do not mean the T Tauri just a system next to it il travel back tomorrow
Mine did. You probably have a space creature stuck to your hull.
I would like some attention from the fellow CMDR's here,
i have a theory that's supported by many facts we established already and i'm gonna keep it short for now but might make the lengthy version later so here it is:
We have 2 "probe" like things discovered already but there is a new one that completes a logic line that i'we been following for a few hours
i'm gonna present this line of logic in a short readable version now:
first we have the Unknown Artefact or unknown probe mk1 witch was sent first to find something,
but because it was poorly designed it only gives a general direction so other sentient species cant pinpont this thing easily that's why it's is the easiest to find of the 3,
it points towards The Merope star; a general direction to look,
Here comes the Unknown probe into place:
Its made so our alien race can pinpoint the planet the thing they are looking for is in ergo Merope 5c of this was a probe that was way harder to find,
the reason why they want it to be harder to be found is the fact that it gives a search area to them (ofc whatever it is it wasn't in the game till 2.2),
they ordered the probes to find ammonia world's and hide there that's why its anomaly rating is only 2 not 4 like the mk1 probe
it can hide better and its unlike the mk1's it's more important for them to recover least an mk2 probe.
And the "honk" triggers a trigger mechanism that gives out the info it collected and the target planet.
And here comes the third one into place:
after alien ship's like the one that's crashed found an mk2 probe with the planet info it was brought back to our alien's home,
now they are making the final one the third probe,
its a probe that's used to pinpoint the "thing's" location on the planet and this is the most advanced one yet;
i presume this probe will have an anomaly lvl1, and will be ultra hard to find but it will pinpoint a location on Merope 5c.
and here's why i say we have a third probe apart from logic the change log gave me enough proof:
- Fixed a mysterious thing finding it's way into a cargo canister when being ejected.
this line made everything clear for me and here i am 1 wall of text later![]()
any sign of "the missing" colonies that have minor factions but no visibility population on the map waiting to be discovered.
Well seems the ruins are infrequent but out there.
Yesterdays downtime livestream look at 1:10:40 Fdev refer to the largest content in the game, they say theres a few of them in there we havent seen and then no more talk so what are these few things ????
Yeah, I've noticed that too... I've heard somewhere (Obsidian Ant video I think...) that some journalists were shown a Huge Alien Mothership...
I doubt it. Some bad people can easily prove or disprove this.Yeah, I've noticed that too... I've heard somewhere (Obsidian Ant video I think...) that some journalists were shown a Huge Alien Mothership...

No. But once you have found a PPOI, it will stay as a Nav point for future use.Exciting times! Could someone please advise whether any POI's (persistent or not) will show on planetary map after a surface scan? So I know where to land![]()
