I'm getting the "Failed to read from response stream" error, I deleted the .part and .progress but still no download.

Ditto for me. Had to stop the game before 3pm UK time for the patch, got back in at 4.45pm, game client wouldn't start to sync files. Switched to alternative download method, and presto, sync files raced inside 10 seconds to 80% complete, then slowed to 0.01MB/s download, predicting anywhere from 14 hours to 2 days to complete!

Me-thinks Frontier have missed a trick somewhere today...

EDIT: Further to my last, got the message, "Failed to read, etc..", and started the upgrade again, and inside 20 seconds, files have uploaded, patch applied, and all is good with the world, thanks to whomever responsible!

Tried normal and alternate downloads. Deleted all .part and .progress files before.
The Launcher still drops to 0.01 mb/s just close before finishing the DL. The rest is nada. Nothing happening.

I sorted mine. I got fed up waiting.
Close the launcher,
Search for files *.part and *.progress
Delete them all
Start the launcher and use normal download (not alternative).

Just a note on this. We have 2 machines at home with separate accounts (UK Virgin cable). I set them both of at the same time (around an hour after the 2.2 update dropped) and one finished in 30 mins, the other took a day.

I wondered if there are issues with some download servers.

Is there anything I could look into to see what was different in each situation?

i still have the issue deleted all part and progress files
tried it with normal and alternative download
the amazon connection was at fault
it slowly started to speed up as i was watching it and completed the 5th time i went through the kill
and restart cycle.
that was my hours window to play
i will log onto bug simulator tomrrow for more fun though

I can also confirm the instancing bug where you can only see the blue dot where your wingman should be is still with us.

Got to 99% and network connection closed twice now.
Gonna leave it a bit and try again later, glad I got fallout a few days ago now :)

I'll try that if it still doesn't work.

still not working.... same issues as everyone else , tried all the work around stuff as well... syncing files now 17 days ....

I also have network error when finalizing. Deleted the files and tryied again.. same thing. Guess i ll try later and leave the servers to settle down a bit.
