Asp / Vulture ship kits

I dunno bout that. The somewhat offputting geometrical shape (ASP) can be 'softened' with this kit. It's not that bad.

The offputting geometry is largely due to having too much bulky volume in the front and being oddly tapered in the back. The kit doubles down on this and makes the Asp look even more like a mullet that it did before.

Vulture kit is a definite upgrade.

The Asp kit is cringe worthy. Sorry Frontier, you missed an opportunity here. Hopefully there will be future kits? Maybe open it up to the public for voting? Or submissions?

Got my asp kit and few paints, sadly the white pharo paint vanished, says I still own it but can't find ingame

Happened to me as well.

It is listed as a known bug. No indication on likely fix date.

This photo indicates one of the things I don't like about the Asp parts - they partially cover over the Lakon text; makes the parts look like a cheap afterthought. I'd much prefer if those parts alongside the ship's 'spine' weren't included as part of the bumper.

Nice! I hadn't realised that wing part extended backwards so far - you can't really see that when applying it. Will definitely give those a go.

Not just the Asp. Both Viper models (for me anyway) is having the same issue. Didn't check my Python but it's posible that one is suffering the bug as well. Basically the ships that have new kits.

So, when will the poor Federal Gunship gets bits and more importantly PAINTJOBS. It is after all one of the ships that can carry fighters.

I have no idea how they can do a ship kit for the Gunship. Its got things bolted on all over the place as it is. However, i'd buy it anyway

I'm sure I'm going to be in the minority here but I don't like any of the ship kits at all. They all just look vulgar and blingy to me. [shrug]
