Alien archeology and other mysteries: Thread 9 - The Canonn

I'm not sold with the landing or launch pad theory, the planet is a very low gravity one, I'm no rocket scientist or mathematician so please do correct me if I'm wrong, but i don't think you'd need clamps similar to those we use on earth to launch a large space ship, it is only a 0.136G world with no atmosphere to cause friction upon launch, so I'm not sure there would be need for clamps?

Clamps might be useful to restrain the craft for loading and unloading?
The Docking Barrels in the Coriolis etc. at 0.10 G use docking restraints.

Accidental impact by unloading vehicle?

And there was something about re: Site 1 - Someone had mentioned an energy drain. I thought I noticed the same thing out of my SRV when I was toolin' around the site. Is it possible the obelisks are using it? If so, since there's several of them, have any of ya'll considered going into a private group and parking an SRV at each one for a period of time to see what happens?

Nonogramms (!), Ciphers, Spectrograms, messages on starports only a few CMDRs will see...boy, as much as I love learning new things, keeping my brain busy and exploring mysteries...
Sometimes I catch myself thinking that I want to be able to explore those things on my own.
No question I wouldn't be able to and I am thankful for all you great guys...but...you know if there was no Canonn we all would still be roaming around, trading, fighting, exploring without a clue what was waiting for us out in the black.
Totally right CMDR, those aren't a game play for masses anymore.Steps are too harsh to be solved by one gamer, yet it's getting hard and hard to solve in a group like this while the story process.Shame, most of the time there isn't a real in-game clue finding at all.You need decoders, deciphers, sound tools, navigation skills; all of them are outside of the game.

All these CMDR's on this thread are really doing a good job on our side.I can't say too nice things for FD's choices of implement those clues and little bread crumbs.

Perhaps it is necessary to bring to the ruins of The Unknown Probe. Maybe it's already done?

Yes, i have spent about 4ish hours with the probe and an UA on site, with he help of a few friendly mobius players we were able to play around with both to zero effect. There seem to be so many things to still figure out about the site itself - if we ever get any reaction from it whatsoever it might make more sense playing around with the up emp and so on. But then again the UP might have nothing to do with the ruins, at least i had a blast driving around the ruins - great atmosphere, really intriguing sounds.

As its an ancient base ruin, why dont bring in an ancient artefact ?
I look for some since the discovery of the ruins !
(i saw a IA remant, but my ASP wasnt armed and flee in front of the 6 spawning ships :D)

Has a simultaneous mass lighting up ALL srv triggered pillars by many cmdrs without scanning any pillars previously (ie pristine pillars) and no harvesting of relics been achieved yet?

Pretty sure these images that people are seeing faces etc in are just the result of the designers using a mirrored image in the textures. The same can be seen on the old crashed anaconda sites. They're used a lot in the game, especially on panels in ships etc and if you look at them hard enought it's easy to see a pattern in the same way that you do with Rorschach inkblots https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rorschach_test#Inkblots

The Jupiter's Beacon Mystery nonogram bit at the bottom?... It doesn't correlate to a sector on the Galaxy map does it?

XX XX X X X X X?

Its late, I'm tired. Excuse me if I'm talking nonsense. Just looks similar to me.

I thought about it, but what would be the meaning if any ?

Artifacts are illuminated by 30 meters and closer. It should be landed close. Or fly up to the top.
near each artifact and wait.
Mass refueling artifacts.
