Ok. sorry if this has already been mentioned, but if it has I haven't seen it. Whilst I noticed from here that UPs are now found in degraded signals, I didn't notice any posts as to whether anyone had honked one (I remember seeing someone reporting that the EMP signal was being given out without a honk when deployed from an SRV).
Anyway, I just found a free floater and did the honk with Audacity running (to check the sonogram). As far as I could tell everything is identical to previously, the image is the same, your HUD fizzes out and goes dark....
However, it did not push my ship. Multiple attempts and I have not been moved by the UP.
I'm wondering if this is related to them now being "degraded emissions". Somehow they are dying/ running out of power/ whatever it is they do.

I'm thinking it's supposed to be a transposition cipher and the key is "touch" ... le trans key touch. Can't seem to get anywhere with it though. If you translate the three rows of markings to letters based on the alphabet you get:

Wait, I didn't see anything on the FP about a comms beacon around the moon. Or the one orbiting Europa.
IMHO we have to shift the A Z columns title until the three words make sense.
Played with anagrams for LETRANSKEYTOUCH, but so many solutions, you could find anything in there. I liked that you could make "cheater" but couldn't come up with anything to go with it. My favorite so far to fit with both getting a clue, and the doom follows thing:
