One interesting fact: The crashed Alienships do not seem to have cockpits with windows.

Either, they use the ship skin as sensors to the outer world (or cameras), while staying protected deep inside.
Or, what we found so far, are remote controlled drones (Only the small Tharglets, shudder).
Or, the cockpit section separated as escape capsule before the crashes.

What do you think about it?

or the cockpit could be in the ground. cant see it cause its upside down :p

"SECURE PLEIADES BETA SITE"

Does anyone else wonder who this message is meant for? Sure it could be FDs way of guiding us to the crash site, but with it requiring decryption it makes me wonder if, and who, the message is for. Either the aliens are using our own satellites (haha, good ol' independence day), or there are other factions of humans out there who have more information about what's going on...

thats because at a certain point you can see inside the ship because the game does not render that lol. check the debug

If you look deep enough, you will see the outer skin on the underside. As least, it worked that way with the other sites, were the crashed ships were also more tilted.

If past history is to go by there are human factions that knows a lot more about what going on than we do.

UA being aboard on those mysterious convoys that were being sent on a secret mission proves that, an now we have these secret number stations popping up everywhere.
