Is the visual distortion and "blue Sparkly things" (For want of a better description) normal for UA's??
I have no experience with them, and the experts hang out here...
Could the distortion be something to do with witchspace
.
However, I do like the theory raised earlier that UA's are deployed to hunt these Alien Vessels.

Something can be alive and not represent "intelligence" (by which I mean sentience). Bees are alive. They're behavior is intelligent and they've proven themselves capable of learning. But sentient?

I can't help but wonder if there are alien races out there who act less on account of deliberate intelligent planning and more as a result of reflexive action.

Thargoids are probably sentient, but their sentience may be on a non individual level. Their sentience and intelligence may well be a property of the hive it self. We know that the Thargons seemed to work as pure drones with no individual will.

Regarding the wrecks and their level of organic nature, we have a lot of possible options.

- They could be a naturally evolved species that lives in open space/hyperspace.
- They could be an engineered species, designed for a specific purpose.
- They could be autonomous drones constructed from living organic material. An organic machine that is partly alive but without a complete genetic code for the entire device.
- They could be piloted ships constructed partly from living organic materials (like traditional Thargoid ships).
- They could be ships built from dead organic materials (like we use wood) and only seem alive because of their exotic power source and design.


What we know from regular ants is that the same species can take of several different forms, based on their role in the hive. When it's time to establish a new hive, a lot of them will develop wings(Alate).
If an insectoid species (Thargoid or other) is swarming in hyper space directed by UAs and UPs leading them to Ammonia worlds in the Shell, some of them may splat on the windscreen of other hyper space travelers.

Particularly high mass travelers like Jaques, the SS1 wing and a wings of two T9s and two Condas.

...and the ancient ruins are a listening outpost for one side decrypting messages using an advanced enigma machine.

The distortion and the so called fireflies are normal for UAs and UPs.

Hi all

Was afk a few, this WE, and when i played, was for finding painite in order to help a newplayer...
First, im one of the ones who find somethings close to Dave's hope, and... wasnt able to find it back... so, was surely a POI (strange, cauz i find it without POI blue marker, but i can mistake myself, but more strange, i wasnt able to find back the plateform i used to land in top of mountain close too...). So, i apologize, wasnt do to hoax the thread !

I just post for summarize what i miss :

since alien carsh site 3 discovery, we have :

- CG for toxandij.
Many theories about why/why not, i can find only one infos sure in the thread :

HR5991 1B 33.48/-2.17 (O> to u cmdr, we all others, were lookng the finger...)
lead to a attacked base, and speak about alien infestation.

Am i right ? did i miss something else ?

I wondered about this when I was trundling around them last night. Some of the ships have been hit by weapon fire but others have not and appear instead to have been torn apart - maybe by something like this?
Just to throw out an idea, could these "creatures" - instead of being Thargoid ships - be the Guardians themselves? If so what are they guardians against? To protect human space from the Thargoids maybe?

I'll have some evidence posted tonight after I get home from work, investigate one single system, and compile my info and map into a post for the masses explaining what I have here. Even if the system is empty or a bust I still want to show how I got there because I feel it has serious merit.

BUT, I want to be the one to see the system first. Even if I just end up with egg on my face, I'll have earned it at least!

I look forward to reading about what you find. I've been trying to think of new ways to use the ruins for a while but so far nothing worth mentioning, hopefully you have managed to crack it!

In an image, posted in the latest Newsletter, the triangular clusters, appeared to be "simply" some kind of storage solution, for what appeared to be fuel rods.

We have seen images of some off camera ship, with a green weapon, and green glow. So Im guessing the alien base may be military in nature. some kind of storage / refuelling location.

Whats also noticeable, is all these green storage devices, seem to be compromised, and are leaking the glowing green goo into the ground around them. Slightly worrying...

The bases, are obviously coated in meters deep layers of dust. So we can only see the smoothed outline of the location. Im hoping that this will be excavated at some point. No doubt a power will arrive soon, claim it and do so.

At that point, I think these rows of triangular columns will be revealed as rows of fuel rods, stored vertically, in some kind of array. It'll be very interesting to see what the other structures are revealed to be.

Well I have definitely cracked one part of the ruins, I think. I’ll just say this: my previous map was flawed now, I know that, it was making me search an area of space because my galactic coordinates were never exactly matching any one system. That and my map was predicting a range of solutions, pointing to a region I thought. However, the new revised, improved, and more accurate map I made last night gave me coordinates that literally led me precisely to a single system. It was so spot on that I literally sat there slack jawed for over a whole minute just marveling at the Indiana Jones map room accuracy I’d just witnessed. The system is literally only off by less than a single light year in any direction from what my map tells me.

So needless to say I’m sitting here at work today completely unable to focus on anything except getting home tonight and investigating what my “magic amulet” has pointed out to me, lol.

I shared my process of discovering the Ruins in the first place as it happened. Just sayin'.

I suppose I can't expect people to be as generous with information as I am. < Joking btw.
