just the last curiosity, in the system PRU AESCS TY-J A64-1 is where the probe is found, and also where the probe message indicates. upon entering the system, i honked the horn but i didn't surface scan ANYTHING.
After having listened to the probe, the scan data of THE MOON OF THE FIRST PLANET, wich is landable, has been revealed to me even if i didn't surface scan it. Probably there's something on the surface.

god then my guess would be someone involved with sirius corp. There was that galnet article a month or so ago about Sirius Corp deploying a bunch of deep space probes. That came shortly after the whole Raan Corsen thing too iirc, so maybe something is up?!

No signal on the half hour. I'm guessing you have to be at the beacon before the hour hits for it to transmit. A minute or more off and it won't start until the next hour.

About to drop in on Eafots EU-R C-41 C2. Anyone found anything down there?

Two quick questions before I consider setting out;
1.) Does it look like there are many probes scattered about those areas, and are you finding them just by looking for permanent USS?
2.) Are the ones being found in areas other players have been through, which might mean these were always there, or do we think they are new?

I gave up searching the C2 planet after a couple hours and started an expanding spiral search of surrounding systems for additional beacons. It appears there are at least 3 beacons in each target sector.

Incidentally, I speculated earlier in this thread that "Heart And Soul" meant between the two nebulas; EAFOTS EU-R C4-1 is indeed at a point where lines drawn from the edges of the two nebula would roughly meet. Damn it, should have taken a risk on that. Had the system already been scanned?
Debating which one to go too... Hawkins gap is furthest away, but my Exploraconda has pretty long legs so I might be most useful there.

I'd share some in my hold, but I pruned everything to get maximum jump range. I can still share the sentiment with something worthy of scooping.
That's one of the reasons I decided to head out that way. The NA and Pelican nebulas keep trying to lure me away. Must... resist...
