Dr Kaii does it in batches. Meaning he'll send a big bunch of our names to be sorted. Not sure when he is sending them, but he has a lot of names. All we can do is wait. If you don't have it by Christmas, get back to him.

Hopefully everyone will have it on time for the reunion event.

Oh, okay. That's great. Thank you for the update.

Problem solved. I will wait.

Send me a pm with your CMDR name and your post in the arrivals form to get in the next batch. This will be the last batch. Anyone else who has problems will need to contact frontier support directly :)

Stupid question: how do I create a link in a PM to my post in the DW Arrivals thread, please? What magic, what devilry, is this?

Thanks in advance

Kind regards
Jon "Cold" Tallinn

EDIT: Worked it out!

I too have sent Dr Kaii a couple of PMs over the last two weeks. I received no response either. Perhaps his Inbox/PM functions are not working?

Kind regards
Jon

Welcome home, Ed Lewis o7.

:)

Welcome back to the bubble Ed Lewis o7
I watched the livestream of the last run-in. There was a hair-raising moment when he nearly burned up ~30 jumps from home, as a result of someone else in the office distracting him with talk of food whilst he was scooping ... people in the chat were shouting warnings of HEAT and his cabin temperature climbed to 160%. I wonder if it might be appropriate for that system to be renamed something like 'Intern's Folly' in the Mapping Project? I'll leave it to Ed to submit as a POI, though, maybe he'd rather forget about it... (it was a really close call: he lost several systems, discovery scanner included, and his life support was reduced to 18%)

It seems that you know my Route 33?

Your 2nd screenshot shows that you are (or were?) in Cho Thua QD-Z c27-0. This is one of the systems of Route 33 and Pyrie Eurk QX-U e2-0 (Distant view in blue) is one of your bookmarks :)

The first screenshot shows systems a hundred LYs southeast, did you come that way?

The route planner will now not work as it does in areas with higher density of stars. The most time you have to jump system by system, step by step.

For distances that exceed your jump range, you have to jump by jump on fumes or using Jumponium (I hope you have some?). With jump on fumes you can not plot a route, you have to select the system and jump then, as well as jump with Jumponium.

For example: Chua Eohn GA-F c28-0 (the next system in Route 33) is 30.5 LYs away from Cho Thua QD-Z c27-0. So you either have to burn some fuel (your 2nd Screenshot shows that your current jump range is 30.49) or use Jumponium LVL 1.

And if you do use jumponium, be extra careful that you have enough to get back out if you hit a dead end. CMDR Macedonica and I both made that mistake. And be aware of shared materials when you count up how much J1, J2 and J3 you have! If you burn a J1 that's effectively a J2 gone as well — the miscalculation I made.

You can't cross Route33 with that range without jumponium. It's going to be a bit of a trek, but come back out and head closer to the Roncevaux Crossing. You will be able to cross there.

Isn't the last jump to Beagle Point 34 or so light years? Without jumponium the posted Asp won't be able to make that hop either...
