No, the ticketing is part of the investigation. That was during the investigation.
I'm talking about handing them the investigation. Let them respond. Depending on the response you can always post this thread. Maybe FD would want to investigate for themselves what the OP found.
See,FD only lied if they knew about this and knowingly told us otherwise. On the other hand they may have made a promise but due to practical reasons (man hours vs issues) can't put the capacity on the issue it needs. So by charging this as: FD lied, now they need to come out and prove they didn't or else, those avenues have become more distant.
I see what you're saying now, but speaking purely personally, my charity for this company ran out sometime around 2.1.
I was willing to overlook the offline play lie. (And that was, objectively, a lie. It was promised to backers, and then retracted.) It didn't impact me because I didn't kickstart the game, so perhaps that's why.
This little incident establishes a pattern, and that pattern points uncomfortably towards "FD doesn't give enough of a toss about their players to even be honest with them".
I don't want to think that, but what else am I supposed to think? Especially when solving the issue is as simple as an orange mea culpa?
What does that say to the likelihood of honoring other promises, like the one that an "archive" of the universe will be available of the game ever dies?
