Well... are we sure that this is a thargoid ship?
I just came back after beeing inactive for 4 - 6 months :/
"They are very hostile and aggressive and have not been interested in diplomatic relations to date"
We see the green light indicating it could be a thargoid ship, but why did it only scan?
After being almost obliterated by the virus (egineered by humans) they would likely destroy any human ships in their sight...

Im definetly sure is thargoid. it has 8 sides. its also green. and pulls you out of witchspace
Maybe the direction they jump towards is a clue.
Alternate hypothesis A: It could be Oresrians (if they are still canon)
Alternate hypothesis B: Could be a reverse engineered prototype based on information retrieved from the previously identified crash sites.
And it's a Thargon Class Ship for sure. Thouse little crashed alien ships must be Tharglet(s) or how they are called.

Well, it seems that the structure in Unkown artefacts is actually thrusters?, are they pointing away from Merope maybe?

No confirmed encounters without a UA onboard yet.
Unconfirmed reports of a CMDR Baron (spelling unknown) being interdicted without a UA on board.
Corvette in first encounter jumped to Aries Dark Region XU-O B6-3 in first video and from Pleiades Sector DR-M B7-2 to Pleiades Sector OI-T C3-8 while being interdicted during a jump on the way to Maia in the later video. Second in Hyades Sector WJ-Z b3 and Third in Pleiades Ector BR-M B7-
Corvette reportedly had no UAs onboard according to wing pilot (conflicting reports on this) but the second video shows the ship with 6AUs

Don't I recall people saying that originally, if you took down a Thargon ship, the Tharglets went kinda "comatose" and you could scoop them up and sell them for a bunch? Maybe the UA's have been sleeping Tharglets all along.
