The video of the Courier accidentally ramming it is interesting.
It didnt hit very hard, but there was no bounce, no shields going down before exploding, nothing.
1 Frame the ship is fine, the next, it is dead

Looks like the ship is the proverbial irresistible force AND immovable object (scripted)

I think the CMDR that rammed him had no shields; hence the insta-eject. Ship just crumpled like tinfoil (!) against the alien ship with shields. We don't know what the materials of the ship are made of either, might be super-tough. I think he hit the UPTV with a bit of a clout from what I saw.

I want to say few things.

1) This ship don't have any weapon on board.

2) This ship have only 1 hardpoint and it's classification is small.

3) This hardpoint is some sort of emmiter. With 2 ways of working. On others and self.

4) This ship have everything that others ship have. I don't know for what reason, but it looks like this ship can be fly by a player someday. It have even a cockpit..

5) The weapon classification is a small organic fixed.

6) It have standart armour

7) for some reason it have fuel tank. (again this is about that this ship can be piloted by a player)

And the most important thing to know.

This ship can't fire at us. Simply don't have this function. And that don't mean that they are piecefull. Keep that in mind.

And what about the claws and the crashed Anacondas, T9s?

What if the ship is scanning not for an object, but for a person? After all, passenger missions were just released... Anyone taken a look for anomalies in the passenger lounges around that area?

IMHO it is not scanning, it is pushing. Streaky stars indicate a backwards motion when the yellow beam thingy hits.

Or even just a researcher with an urgent trip to somewhere, that looks slightly non-standard. Perhaps a traitor to humanity trying to make contact with his handler, or someone with a key piece of information that aliens want, or wish to deny us.

I did deploy a fighter with my crew but did not react on it.
Received by scanning Unknown ship signature & Unknown wake data

Given the number of Gas Giants I've scanned that contained life I think it's odd that there are no other technologically capable races out there. Unless there are...

I seen a few commanders trying to get the probe, I have tried but to no avail, some are working in groups.

I would like to ask commanders that succeed in getting the probe and artifacts, "if" nothing happens when the ufo scan`s you ship (im sure something will), if you can with your systems comeback online, drop off the probe and activate it, see if something happens. Thanks

Yes, but the crashed alien ships and these things have loads parts in common. It is quite likely that these are the same ships.
