Anyone else come across an invisible wall in the avenue between E20 and E29?
Anyone else come across an invisible wall in the avenue between E20 and E29?
I get invisible walls where I've previously crashed or relogged from the previous instance, can get really stuck on them
Is there not 2 alien crash sites? Any chance there are related to the "Arks?"
Pardon me if this has been looked at. I suspect
It has but has 4 B been looked at in detail?
Looking at the ruins it seems like the bottom circle represents 1 B with a singular ring and 5 segments like stellar body 1 has a singular ring with 5 planets.
stellar body 4 has 2 rings and 5 planets only 1 of which isn't tidally locked and is a rocky body.
Has anyone tried Alien Probes or whatever they are? are they a possible item to add to the combinations?
around each obelisk there are plates that form paths. The plates have different types of shapes. I think originally the artifacts (Tablet, Orb, etc.) were there. We know that is not entirely true that combinations of one or two artifacts can decode obelisks. Exactly is only part of the truth. The full truth is that before to decode the obelisks we have to activate them, and to do this we need that around the obelisks there are more than two artifacts. I think the number and types of artifacts can be evidenced by the shapes of the plates at the base of the obelisks. Theoretically, we may also activate the obelisks playing in "Solo", but we should have the exact number of artifacts at the base of each obelisk (to activate it) and then the right pair in the SRV (to decode it). I want to check if the number of shapes present in the tiles around the obelisks coincides with the types (and numbers) of artifact.
As has been eluded to already, this is a communications site.

To the CMDRs and myself who were wondering about the "stepping stones" that were planned by the Fdev for us to find the ruins, that were in a way undermined by the cleverness of CMDR XDeath, this is what Michael Brookes the Almighty had to say about it:
"There was another path planned, but that's now been adapted for something else.
Michael"
I feel so much better now *throws keyboard out the window*
I had this idea a couple of days ago but I don't think this is the case as Ram Tah specifically states in one of his messages to try different combinations of artifacts in the SRV hold.
Really? The technology data does mention a communications network but there is no specific connection with this site. If anything this is just a monument type site or data library of the Guardians.
Hey! it was me that tried to free you by ramming you - noticed after a couple of relogs you appeared to have freed yourself.
Call me paranoid, but I think that Deedrix knows something - maybe he learned it through some inside contact in FD or something - and throws us hints while not wanting to show the entire thing at once. Maybe Bill Turner gives a similar 'CG' mission for finding the ruin sites just like Ram Tah gave us the one for the data? Can anyone with access to Alioth check this lead real fast? I don't have the permit myself and I don't think 3 weeks will be enough for me to farm the rep to get it...
I've seen quite some people talking about two other ruins but nowhere on the front page is this information noted... Could you please tell me why you seem to know there are two more ruins ?
I'd like to know this as well. Not so much why people think there are more ruins, but why specifically 3 in total?
Three sites would make sense as we haven't yet seen any of the beginning or end data (I think before 7 or after 16)
