When Hawkin's Gap Delta 2/4 says "...got our orders today, we're making for a zone called "Hawkin's Gap"; then five weeks later 4/4 says "cargo deployed." How could they get there so fast? It took the Formidine Rift mission five or six months to get to the site. Maybe it's like those old WWII submarine movies were the Captain can't tell the crew were their going until they are well underway. Lose lips sink ships.
Yes. I'm also getting some Dead Space vibes and I like it.
Wasn't the main character in that an Engineer? Hm...

Just in time to find the ship and EVA into it with space legs. *speculation*
Can we all agree instead of using the Phrase 'Space Legs', we use 'Elite Feet' instead?

Sorry. Until you pose that question on an Elite livestream "space legs" it is![]()

Cmdr Zach's summary of the Dynasty Expedition Beacons can be read here:

Anaconda's that have been stripped down and prepped for long range travel move a lot faster than T9s loaded down with cargo. But yeah, I know. Not all the puzzle pieces seem to fit just right.

Great find this weekend! Below is the updated timeline in a graphic form. Again it shows how the logs from the different sites overlap.

lol. I only heard her voice. Didn't see her faceShe sounds a lot like Toby Longworth though ...
That's why it stinks so strongly of INRA. That would imply joint involvement of both the Federation and the Empire.
I asked Drew about the audiobook voice actors. He told me that the budget only allowed 1 voice actor (a guy) voice every character in the story. He was a talented guy of many voices, but there was no way to completely hide his gender when voicing Kahina and Octavia. The result was I kept picturing them in drag. It's too bad they couldn't hire 2 actors. Hopefully next time.

Formidine Rift Alpha Mission
I'm scared... help me someone... I can't bear another jump. The lights in witch-space are coming for me. The lights... always the lights... they're calling to me... a siren song... I must join them...

Anybody else read this as suicide by ejection?
I keep thinking of Edwin Odesseiron from Baldur's Gate 2...Octavia sounds like a khajiit from skyrim
Good spot! Worth checking out (sry, I'm in M67 for the next few days so I'm not able to look for it myself). What about the sites in Hawking's Gap?Formidine Rift (ERP 003):

Could be any relation between all the sites? The ones found are all in the Southern Hemisphere.

.
I've been through the Conflux a few times but only once since 2.2 dropped. I don't remember anything about the hyperspace environment that stood out as odd but this would be a great way to let players know that they passing through a region that might be hosting a presence and to be on their guard. I'm thinking about a mini-tour after 2.3 to see if this is being done and, if so, to locate regions of potential activity. Depending on events (irl as well as in game), I might be a bit busy with other things, though.
