Assuming for a moment that these line up with tower relics, that would be incredibly obscure, the galaxy map can be viewed in a 360 sphere, was/is there a reference at the site that might indicate the angle to view galaxy from? if not, then the positioning of the tower relics become meaningless.

The galaxy still has a galactic plane, and therefore 2 directions to view that from. Of course, you can still rotate it around an awful lot from either direction. But, it still might be something..

Yes of course, but since we know that the ancient site we already discovered is NOT on one of the poles but rather near the equator it makes it impossible for constant line of sight.

B Centari is it thats the pole star for the ruins#1 planet, so a few areas of sky on that planet can be permanently seen if that helps

VOLGRAND IS BACK WITH A NEW PLANETARY SURVEY TOOL!!!
But this one is a lot simplier than the one I made for Merope 5c.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1aTylZJ19U6AHoUk8UAkvXpNG8i9qjMu-9iLovsD91BI/edit?usp=sharing

My recommendation is that you create a copy of this sheet for each planet you want to survey. If you wish I can do that, I just need the planet's names.

Thanks, spreading the word on Canonn Discord
This is a very simple solution and effective this early on.

+1 the man please.

Any new info if anyone has found a site? Thinking about heading out to a few of the places.

Also, quick thing i though of. if you observe the ruins from above as shown below

th

i see something similar to how planets and their moons are presented to us in system view in the galaxy map.
The outer rings on the central circle could represent planetary rings. The line down could represent moons in orbit and the one section that has a nub to the left could represent a moon orbiting a moon. The second circle on bottom left could be another planet/star. The hex shape of the complex could represent a binary orbit, where the two bodies are orbiting each other. I'll do some photoshop work to further explain.

Greetings fellow Cmdrs, since the original ruins are located on the Southern Hemisphere. Is it possible that the 4 candidate systems are lower in the galactic plane than the home system of the ruins. Therefore, the new ruins may be in the Northern Hemisphere of the new planet or planets!?!!

Any chance you guys could change the spreadsheet background to something other than white?

It kinda makes your eyes explode when you're searching around space/planet and want to check the spreadsheet.

Well this is new, I've not logged into the game but just seen the front page. Is there any structure to how we're searching? Also, are the ruins going to appear as a POI or are we searching by eye?

from what i've heard its by eye. I'd also like to point out how the original ruins planet never had POI's. so maybe thats something to keep in mind when trying to find the new ruins.

Also, wait a little bit, frontier is restarting their servers.

Along with that, has anyone made any progress?

Excellent work.

I think this is the one:

Synuefe xo-p c22-17 D1.

Reason:
- Orbital period = 4.9 days
- Rotational Period = - 4.9 days

Same setup as on the current ruin planet (except it has +- 6.9 days).

Video of site 1 co-ords on Synuefe xo-p c22-17 D1.

Nothing to see just uploading incase I didnt see or hear something or I am at wrong coords.
