OMG! Congrats to Zorbaq, but...

CAN ANYONE CONFIRM co-ordinates from inside the ruins? Not the co-ordinates from way outside the ruins!

I'M INTERESTED IN the numbers 32.XXXX BY 32.XXXX !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are those ruins near or right next to those numbers!? Can anyone please confirm please!?

So relic towers are the same. Object positions are the same. Moon positioning seemed coincidental (there is no moon for this one).

Argh! Unless the obelisks encode a different pattern then it's a bust!

I was incorrect with my assertion "B" by the way. It just means the layout doesn't point to a "single" alternate site.

Noticed that pretty much everything is in the same position and giving the same data as we got on the last site... however this site is located in a different place on the planet... so maybe they really do point to the next ones...

Another observation from me for ruins site 1 (original site, not the new one!).

Barnards Loop (or BLoop, as I now regard it!), rising in alignment with group "G" platform.

First off, Congrats Zorbaq!

Initial observations:

Relics towers are all up. Not sure if it was from another player as I am only one here at this moment. Relic towers might have different triangles on their base but not sure. Will compare with alpha site later. Beta site has same layout as alpha site with same alien object and relic locations as far as I can tell. Obelisk triangle glyphs look like they are the same; using side by side comparison with alpha site triangle glyphs in motion.

Good find Zorbaq and good luck CMDR's. Gotta hit the sack.

Many Congratulations CMDR. And have a very happy Birthday too!

So is it confirmed that the ruins are the same layout as the original find? That would suggest we've been barking up the wrong tree with regard to the layout being a map. This doesn't surprise me. Without wanting to blow our own trumpets, I credit the players of this game with enough intelligence (in game griefers allowing, and the various "I've already solved all this but I'm not telling" crowd) to have figured out any message in the ruins layout and contents already. I just don't think there is anything there (unless Fdev have messed up again and it's not supposed to be the same)

Totally leaves me scratching my head as to where we should be looking however. Local news articles in the bubble? I check wherever I fly to in the bubble but not read anything yet.

Done with this whole fiasco. The "new" site is an exact same copy paste. No new data either. Everyone is getting the same scans as they were from the old site.

Way to go.

The beta site does have a moon.

It looks like the "erosional" features of the beta site match those of the alpha site. The same "columns" that are knocked over and walls that look like they were eroded or "fallen in" look the same. I can assume that the obelisks that are damaged are all exactly damaged as the alpha site....

So these are basically nodes on the monolith network, each should be line of sight then from each other, they probably stretch from the home world, out to wherever they settled next. There could be dozens of these from either side of the bubble.
Maybe... The three areas on the formadine rift expedition are where the three ark ships were heading to (would fit the exodus name), if we then continue out in the opposite direction we might find their home world. What we have is the middle.
