Hi there,

just remembered that there is this nice thread. So i want to submit my elite status on exploration which i got
on 24th of November in 3302. I think I have no screenshots from within the game around that time, but I could provide
one from eddiscovery if needed.

This took longer than originally anticipated back in Feb 2015

Cheated ~30 million credits worth of rank up from missions (4 mil from one 'sightseeing adventure' and 26mil from 'take famous explorer far from bubble') for you purists. I don't care. Should you? Without the missions I predict I'd made it elite by Christmas 2017, possibly even by midsummer. Depending a bit whether or not any other cool games would come out within the timeframe...

And had to wait a while before the game refreshed the stats, but here we go. Note the impact of pre-1.1 (or whatever that early patch was which doubled exploration data credit income) trip to Sag A*, 108mil + 30mil (from missions) is far from the 196mil or so that's supposedly required nowadays:

Maybe then the thread should also be renamed to The Elite Explorers Hall of Infamy, in light of current events. ;)

Either way, congratulation to all those who reached the Elite exploration rank.

I technically did as well, but won't be posting in this thread until reaching over 156,500,000 "profits from exploration," assuming the weight of that metric stays the same in the meantime.

It looks like Whiterose has gone inactive, he hasn't been online for a month. I tried messaging him some time ago, but received no reply yet. I might make a new version of the thread if he's no longer interested in updating it, but I'd rather hear from him first.

You probably mean about the passenger missions. Yea thats real shame for all the rest explorers but, thats how it goes now because.. frontier.

If he didnt answer and hasnt come active for so long, then it is perfectly ok i think for you to contact a mod and get a hand on this thread or transfer the list to a new thread.
